Am I the only one really curious as to how self-righteous merged Zamasu is gonna be? This guys already pretty in love with himself and his own bullshit so I really want to know how far its gonna go

First thing he's going to do is conjure a mirror and start a monologue about his beauty and perfection, which takes half a episode. Vegeta and Goku try to attack him but get bitch slapped instead.

These 5 really have no use anymore. Not only are they too weak, but now because we are exploring other universes giving exposition is out of their grasp too.

These 4 have been treated pretty well lately. Jaco had a big role in the U6 tournament and Trunks has finally started to get some development in this latest arc. Not to mention that Beerus and Whis pretty much kickstarted these last 2 arcs.

They really do as much as they can without interfering too much. They investigated and led to the revelation that Black is Zamasu, which again really kickstarted this whole arc.

All Gohan did was get angry all the time and then as an adult is just a complete weirdo. Nothing interesting about and I believe he only has a fanbase of his fight with Cell.

Future Trunks' character is nothing special to me either. I just feel every other has something more unique and fun about them.

His tournament fight was kind of a throwaway fight. Everybody knew he was going to lose; and he did lose. You got me there with the Mafuba, but even Goku left before he could explain it hehe.

How's he a complete weirdo as an adult? By dressing up as a super hero? Then I guess Spiderman and Super man are weirdo's too. Gohan's probably the most normal guy on the show.

He definitely doesn't only have a fanbase because of cell, because I and many others love his boo saga version. I even prefer it. Cell did help though! Not like that's a bad thing, I mean it was a great moment.

What special thing does Goten, Trunks,18 or any of the others you have listed have that sets them apart from FT?

Off topic, holy shit, like after getting out of my bubble i've just realized how popular is db again (not as popular as before but still), i mean, i knew that it was doing well on japan, but recently i've seen a lot of ads of xenoverse's game, and fusions, OUTSIDE japan, and people's reactions about it are just great. And if we add what has recently happened on crunchyroll...........

Black Zamas probably won't defuse but be sealed away (and if it is a new entity the fusion of two such narcissistic beings probably would result in something even more narcissistic that would not want to fade away) and for Vegetto I guess he and Bulma would simply return and use their own Dragon Balls.

• Glimpse of each Universe that we'll eventually explore
  Introduced to new characters that we'll get to know some now, and more later on

Later rather than sooner:

• We get see the characters again, this time as "familiar faces"
  We'll see how much the characters have developed in various aspects such as personality, skills, etc.

So, either way, I'd like it.

I think the mindset is that an arc involving all of the universes would feel very cumulative and a grand way to close off the story.

Goten and Trunks are kids that come as a pair that get up to things. Android 18 is the only strong female character.

They should save the tournament arc for later to make sure they get it right or break it up into many arcs with one other arcs inbetween with the big part of the tournament at the end of the series as it will be really long tournament.

Even if you see that fight as a throwaway fight ( which I don't) it still confirms he is the number 3 fighter.

Anything Dragon ball will be popular whether it is good or bad. It's popularity will probably increase even more in the coming months.

I think there is enough power enemies in other worlds that they can do. Zamasu was a pretty fresh and original villain. I hope Toriyama can give us another new and creative bad guy.

Also of note, Toriyama's next Super arc will supposedly be revealed at Jump Festa this year, December 7-8.
