-With her son dead, Bulma, finally able to build a spaceship without the androids interfering, heads to New Namek to undo the destruction wrought by Gero's creations. She has three wishes...one goes to restoring life to those who perished at the hands of the twin cyborgs. Another goes to restoring the Earth to the way it was before they appeared. The last one...is to bring her son back to her. Set in Cell's timeline.

I have to think of a bunch of concepts and, as I think possible interesting ideas, but yes, i would like to complete it. Though completion is an interesting question here because for a story that has Super and GT and stuff the question is, where to stop. I will think about it.

A scene where Lapis, Lazuli, and Gero discuss the androids:

"So, you made yourself an android?" mocked Lapis, snickering.
"Yes," replied Gero.
"Why'd you make it so similar to your actual body? Why not make the android younger?" questioned Lazuli.
"In hindsight, that would've been a good idea," sighed the doctor.
"And what number android are you, doc?" asked the boy.
"20."
"Who was 19?" inquired Lazuli.
"Remember that doll I like so much?"
"Yeah, what about it?"
"I made an android designed after it."
"That's...really stupid," groaned Lapis. "So, you don't talk much about the androids before us. Tell us about them. Dad didn't mention them much."
"Well, Nos. 1-8 I made with your father. No. 7 was that Major Metallitron one. No. 8 we modeled after Frankenstein's monster."
"Seriously?"
Gero nodded. "No. 9 I modeled after Commander Red."
"Is he still short?" giggled Lazuli. "I'm imagining a dwarf android."
"No, he's tall. Average height," replied Gero. "As for 10-12...I kinda...don't remember. I'd have to check. And 13-15 had atrocious designs that I definitely regret."
"How bad? Can't be worse than that doll, right?" questioned Lapis.
"Actually, they were..." mumbled the scientist. "13 is a trucker. 14 is a samurai. And 15 is a purple midget with sunglasses and a ridiculous hat that."
The twins promptly laughed uncontrollably at Gero.
"That's priceless. What about 16?" grinned Lazuli.
"That one is destroyed. It's none of your business. Don't ever mention it again, I have painful memories associated with that model," Gero blurted out, clearly trying to come up with an explanation.
"What kind of painful memories?" At this, Lazuli leaned in close to the doctor, looking into his eyes.
"...Memories of events caused by Son Goku. They're about my family. Don't ever mention or speak of 16 again."
The girl nodded, seeming satisfied with Gero's response.

Finally decided where my fic will diverge from canon:

[spoiler]Goku doesn't go Great Ape and step on Grandpa Gohan. Instead, after the first such incident, Gohan ensured Goku would never see the full moon.
Basically, Goku doesn't kill Grandpa Gohan. This also means that Goku is...less clueless. He's had more time with Gohan and thus knows his having a tail is a rarity, and doesn't go around checking people's gender.[/spoiler]

Preview of part of the first chapter:

The years passed. Gohan survived a brush with death in regards to Goku - when the boy saw the full moon, he turned into a giant ape. Gohan ensured his ward would never be able to see the full moon from that day forward. The alien had a strict curfew.

Age 745. Gohan was baffled when the moon exploded.

"Huh...?"

A few days later, though, it was back. Then Mars disappeared. Then IT came back.

Age 746. The moon exploded and then reappeared again. Gohan made a note to ask Roshi about that next time he saw his master.

January 1, Age 749. The moon exploded again. At this point, Gohan had given up on trying to make sense of the phenomenon. Two days later, it was back.

And then, on September 1, Age 749, everything changed.

Bonus points to anyone who can figure out what was going on with the moon and Mars. Any guesses?

All the time. Sometimes I rewrite whole chunks just to have the line I want to get in there make sense.
