"Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I miss Gokû Black, but I've come to terms with "well, there's a slim to none chance he'll ever be back". He had some final fun tricks (the scythe and the clones) before he vanished for good.
I'm kind of hoping either Vegetto or Gogeta mafubas Merged Zamasu OR that Gokû Black and Zamasu are punished with being Zeno's new playmates.

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
And that's why I'm keeping my expectations low for the new arc, if the plot comes from Toriyama himself and not from a suggestion by Toei.DBZ Macky wrote: I think Super actually did justice to his character, ending his character on a high note, unlike someone who returns with his daddy after turning himself into a cyborg and then returns again after "training" for 4 months, only to die in a even more pathetic way than the last time.
A 5 vs 5 tournament was a great idea, but it was executed badly. And even so it's still not as interesting as the plots from BOG and FT Trunks arc.
A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Oh haha! Pretty funny, laughing about everyone complaints about how that would ruin the best arc we got in Super yet. You must be fun at parties.Baggie_Saiyan wrote:Because most people don't want it haha lame reasoning I know but now they've introduced fusion I kind of don't care how they end it so why not go the Zen-oh button route? I'll admit that the Zen'ou button idea seems shitty on paper, but if executed well, it could be one of the greatest things ever. After all, we'll get to see the strongest Dragon Ball character in history demonstrate his power. All the "Powar Levuls" and "DBZee VS Superman" guys would love it if he demonstrated some crazy feat like transcending time itself and wiping Zamasu out of existence by just imagining that he never existed... or some crazy stuff like that.

Anyway, the spoilers from heroes said that "mafuba will be essential to save the future".....bullshit? .-.
Zamasu thinks that the Gods are better than the mortals. This would be an opportunity to show that the mortals are better than him.
My opinion, anyway

Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Let be serious it would hardly ruin it. It'd just be underwhelming. All the cool moments and fight scenes would be in tact. Cell got defeated in a pretty uninspired way but didn't ruin the arc for some people I mean still have people list x x x from the Cell arc as their fav moments, same would happen here.Noah wrote:Oh haha! People been clamouring for fusion so I want this! Please oh please! Just occurred to me Toriyama mentioned Zen-oh gets involved and Goku paid a visit in both the Manga and Anime.... It's looking likely!
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Yes it would. Because all those fights will have been meaningless, just push the Zeno's button and there is, problem solved. Where's their pride? And no, Cell was not defeated in a unispired way, it would be if Gohan actually had stop messing around and killed him straight, but no Cell came back, stronger and almost destroyed everyone, his defeat was one of the most memorable scenes of all the franchise, so I don't know what you're talking about. I don't want Zeno to be the involved in Zamasu ultimate defeat, it could be something in the aftermath, could be more interestingBaggie_Saiyan wrote:Let be serious it would hardly ruin it. If anything it would be a toast to how great an opponent like Black and Zamasu were that they had to press it. Hell it's pretty admirable that Goku and co fought this long without using the fail safe.Noah wrote:Yes it would. The mafuba is probably the best resolution at this point but I'm at the point where I just want a damn resolution lol.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
the question is has Dragonball ever had a great ending?? Hmm i don't know but the dragon fist against King Piccolo was good but the rest??
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
zeno killing zamasu is a much better ending. i would rather have that than zamasu being sealed off.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
It is not a bad idea better than Goku show or Kamehameha etc...I mean we will see him for the first time in action in my opinion nothin wrong with thatzamasu121 wrote:zeno killing zamasu is a much better ending, i would rather have that than zamasu being sealed off.
who knows maybe he kills someone else this would be a shock scenario
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I could see an ending with Zeno being pulled off well, though what I'm thinking is probably the most unlikely scenario.
Despite his immortality, the merged Zamasu ends up exhausted by the constant barrage of attacks from Vegetto, thus Trunks attempts the mafuba to seal the green bastard away for good. But just as Zamasu attempts to escape, he bumps into the Omni-Kings attendants, soon followed by the child king himself. Omni-King lists the many sins Zamasu has committed and delightfully explains that to a being such as the Omni-King, an immortal body means nothing and thus the King has to step in and sort out all the these sins all the other Gods have failed to stop (How dare the Kioshin die and let Beerus's lazy ass die with him!). But Zamasu isn't the only sinner here. Indeed, the entire timeline in of itself is a sin as the mortals here produced another timeline through sin. Unforgivable. So what else can the Omni King do with the sinners but reek divine retribution upon them all, by wiping the timeline from existence. Vegeta and Bulma are sinners too, but Goku is allowed to live as the Omni-King's eternal friend. Whether he wants to or not.
Giggling, the Omni-King wants everyone to stop being so gloomy and decides to make a game out of it. Vegeta, Trunks and Bulma have 10 seconds to run from their inevitable destruction while Goku is forced to stay by the Omni-King. With the Time Machine unreachable as the entire timeline starts to crumble away, there's only one means of escape. Black's wormhole-thingy!
...Nah, that's just stupid.

It's so good in fact, it's made me really sad because whatever actually happens will be utter shit in comparison to it.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

If Zeno were to eradicate this whole mess completely, wouldn't that require killing Goku as well?

I'm mostly talking about if Zeno decided to just prevent Black from happening. Because after all, Zamasu wouldn't find Goku is he were to be dead.Kanassa wrote:Friend Goku would never do anything wrong, he's Zeno's friend. If Zen-ou appears, it's the future one, so Goku can still push the button and call present Zen-ou and have them glare at each other.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Unti proven otherwise, I'm in the mindset that Zeno is an entity that lives outside of time and space, like the Supreme Kai of Time in the games.alakazam^ wrote:If Zen-ou appears, it's the future one, so Goku can still push the button and call present Zen-ou and have them glare at each other.
