It's not confirmed until it's confirmed, but I like how a fusion between Goku and Vegeta hasn't been hinted at. There might be an interesting take with how Merged Zamasu is defeated, after all.

Why can't you just show Merged Zamasu's powers and Goku's "life-risking attack" in the same episode?

I really didn't mean to bash the show at all. If anything, the arc can't possibly go wrong after how good it has been.
It's just that the episode title and description seem really... lackluster.
We had important information told to us through the episode titles before this:

Episode 61 Zamasu’s Ambition — Presenting the Terrifying “0 Mortals Plan”
Episode 62 I'll Protect The World! Trunks' Angry Superpower!!
Episode 63 Don't Defile Saiyan Cells! The Curtain Rises on Vegeta's intense Battle!!
Episode 64 Praise and Adore Him! The Explosive Birth of Merged Zamasu!!

Do you see where I'm coming from? The thing is that I really was expecting Merged Zamasu to appear midway around this week's episode, but they just HAD to have him appear at the end.

I really, really, reaaally don't mean to be that guy who bashes on Super every week. It's just that we've already got enough of Black and Zamasu beating the shit out of Goku and Vegeta. Next week will be the same stuff, just on a grander scale. Frankly, I am not excited for the next episode of Super, and this is the first time in months that I've felt this way. Just needed to vent that out, I'm not trying to hate on the show or its viewers.

Zamasu losing because of Black being SSJR during the fusion does seem like a cool possibility, but the chances of it happening because of that reason are almost zero, Zamasu is immortal after all, it won't really matter if his lifespan is shortened.

If there is indeed no fusion then I am half excited and half not about it. On one hand it would be super cool to see Vegito. On the other hand it would be totally awesome to see them win with something that's not just overwhelming power.

Don't worry, I'm not taking your comment as bashing. It isn't as if I haven't had gripes with the direction of a few episodes. I just feel we may set ourselves for unrealistic expectations too quickly. It's best to stay grounded and remember that Dragon Ball Super is an ongoing story. We don't know everything completely this time. We're used to consuming and deconstructing Dragon Ball all at once, wouldn't you say? When all of this is over and we inevitably marathon it without breaks, something new might click. It likely won't be happening now, so I opt to let everything fall into place. We'll see what ultimate point the writers are driving at sooner or later.

Personally, I expected Merged Zamasu to appear at the end of the episode. It's the usual serial series technique I'm all too familiar with. It has you hooked, right? That's the magic of tested and true formulas.

How likely do you think it is though? I don't see much resemblance to Goku's earlier Kaiohameha.

As per my knowledge it's not fully confirmed as of yet, but ya big chance of it happening..
Yes! I thought the same goku's Kamehameha at nep looks like a very serious one

Either Vegetto isn't happening (yay) or he's coming in 67 or so at that point it's looking likely he'll end it. But I guess this is gonna be anime cliché where getting rid of what you think would defeat someone ends up doing the opposite and makes them more powerful!

I just noticed this but.... Goku hasnt used his kamehame ha this whole arc has he? adds more reason as to why I think the kamehame ha next week is the turning point for them.
Despite me hating the kamehame ha since Goku used it multiple times against his fight with Beerus, he barely used them after that fight, everytime he uses it, its always the turning point, against Freeza he killed him, against Hit it was kind of the turning point of their fight in a way, and now this. Come to think of it I miss the kamehame ha after noticing he hasnt used it yet in this arc.

Personnaly it annoyed me, damned be these fake titles circulating on 2ch since one month.
Vegetto exists to appear one time on my point of view, bring him back would just be low fan-service and too easy. ( And what if he comes? He comes, kills/scelles Zamasu, de-fuse via Super DB, The End?)

It seems that Vegeta and Gokû will win by an exterior element, so the 2 next episodes will be "how Gokû and Vegeta will survive?"

These titles and (small) descriptions aren't enough to dismiss Vegito entirely. He could just as well appear in Episode 67. As for Episodes 65 and 66, it does seem a bit like they've suddenly decided to slow down the pacing quite a lot. Judging from the descriptions, they could have had both of them in the same episode. I'm curious as to what the strange thing that'll happen to Merged Zamasu will be, though...
In any case, the magazine we usually get our titles and descriptions from should appear sometime within the next week.
