Is the guy at the end meant to be Freeza because he kind of doesn't look like it.

If I'm not mistaken, Bardock traveled back into time and isn't aware of it. He keeps saying he's going to Kill Freeza, but the main villain is Chilled.

I believe Young Jijji "rewrites" the story of Episode of Bardock, so that's why Bardock does not travel back in time and this Chilled looking character is not Freeza's ancestor.

That's certainly the impression I get and kudos to him for doing that. I mean, I'm not crazy about any story that keeps Bardock around after his TV special death but this makes a LOT more sense than EoB.

Will this manga be continued? Because it's really good, I especially love the fact the author decided to use use Akira Toriyama's Namek-era art style. Which suits Bardock a lot better.

The second chapter was released in Japan few days ago.

Also, I translated chapter 1 to Polish using Coon Bros. English translation.
