What if the Grand Priest pulls a Lucifer/Devil?

From my understanding this is more or less the layout of Deities in order:

THEE God of Everything
Zeno

Angels:
The Grand Priest
Vados
Whis

God's of Destruction
Beerus
Champa

Kaioshin
Old Kai
Surpreme Kai
Gowasu

East Kai

Guardians/Kami's (of Individual planets)

Now most of the Angels serve either a God of Destruction or Zeno himself, like the Grand Priest. Basically what I'm saying is, The Grand Priest could be like Lucifer and betray Zeno getting cast from the heavens (Or wherever Zeno actually is). Would you like a plot like this? Or is it too similar to Zamasu betraying Gowasu? I wouldn't want the Grand Priest to be outright evil, but more or less have different view points that clashes with Zeno. Zamasu went on an outright extermination mission of humanity itself which kind of makes it different. I wouldn't want Grand Priest to have the motivation of killing everyone, but rather wanting to lead humanity in a different way. (Because lets be honest, Zeno doesn't really do anything himself since he has everyone below him protect, create, and destroy.) The Grand Priest might not agree with his way of leading humanity

In other words he'd want to become THEE GOD himself.

It'd be insane if the Grand Priest pulled a stunt like that -- considering Whis confirmed that he's below the GP in power.

I'd be fine with something like that, it seems like the logical progression as far as powerful villains go.

I'm not ready for it yet though. I have the feeling that Merged Zamasu is still going to be weaker than the Gods of Destruction so the next step is for one of the other Gods of Destruction to be a villain. Maybe even a couple of them.

Then yeah after Goku and Vegeta have surpassed the Gods of Destruction then next comes some evil Angel, the Grand Priest sure.

I feel like it's too obvious for Dragon Ball to say, "This is one of the strongest people in existence!" and make him a villain solely for that fact a few arcs afterward.

I'm guessing that if there is an angel villain, which still seems logical, they'll come from a more unexpected place.

The GP seemed like he was a really nice guy. Besides there's still 4 more people in the top 5 yet to be revealed. We don't count Zeno because he may not have any battle strength, just raw power in the sense that he wishes for things to be so. The guards could be in the top 5, and we don't know necessarily which order he is in the top 5. I'd like to see maybe one of them be an enemy. Like an evil twin brother of the grand priest, I'd rather not see a Lucifer-esque story.

The angels are too easy to defeat, you just have to kill the Kaoshin from their universe and they become inactive. As for one of them defying Zeno, I doubt that would happen, Zeno could take them all out without even trying. And he's probably aware of everything that's going on with Zamasu and is just giving Goku a chance to resolve the problem on his own.

Yeah, I agree. The main issue it would be sort of a rehash of the Zamasu story. A fallen God, who becomes evil and does whatever in his powers to terminate all life and planets as we know it.
