I don't want it to happen either, just because I don't want to see the idea rehashed from a few arcs ago.
My ideal ending (doubtful that it will happen) is that Son/Vegeta get overwhelmed by Zamasu, and another character is introduced to kill them - a Saiyan from anther universe, etc. maybe.
I mainly don't want a fusion or ass-pull power up. Super has struggled to somewhat logically explain random power ups so far (USSJ-blue-ish Trunks, My Bulma Vegeta, etc.), so I don't want another one added.
I hope Vegetto/Gogeta will not happen...

This is just as bad. Honestly, Goku will probably end up falling a certain way, landing on the Zeno button he's carrying. Then Zeno shows up.z_cherub wrote:I don't want it to happen either, just because I don't want to see the idea rehashed from a few arcs ago.

That's not much better, friendo. We already have too many world-beaters hanging around with Beerus and Whis. Do we really want to make another borderline-omnipitent character so accessible to support the main cast in any conflict?Scarlet Spider wrote:This is just as bad. Are we watching the same Dragon Ball Super? That's sort of how this works.z_cherub wrote:I don't want it to happen either, just because I don't want to see the idea rehashed from a few arcs ago.
Vegetto would be the smartest course of action given that there are two pairs of Potarra available in the area, and the idea that Zamasu would allow them time to perform the fusion dance would be pretty idiotic, but not outside the realm of possibility. Zamasu and Black's incredible power and speed have been constantly dumbed down to mundane, slow levels for the sake of dumb drama.
Expect a "wacky" distraction while Goku and Vegeta dance-fuse into Gogeta. Then expect the fusion time to run out when it would be most dramatic and Zamasu will be defeated by a more unassuming deus ex machina.
Super Saiyan Blue is not a creative color.
DBZ Movie 3 told a stronger and more believable "Evil Goku" story in 60 minutes than Dragon Ball Super has in 20 episodes. And it did it with better visuals and score.

Just beacause they've already rehashed some ideas doesn't mean it's a great approach to keep doing to over and over. Where did I give you the impression that I meant to imply that's not how Super has worked so far?Fishman wrote:Are we watching the same Dragon Ball Super? That's a troll reason, and what reason can possibly be more legitimate than wanting to see others be butthurt? I'm with this guy all the way.GodVegetto91 wrote:So just because of fans and their opinions you don't want it to happen.. That's not really a fair or legitimate reason.
Though to be fair, I wanted Vegetto to come since day one, and now he's confirmed, so with this particular outcome I'm perfectly happy. But I agree with the OP on the principle
