San Diego Comic-Con, baby! *insert devilish laughter*

And responding to the Namek Saga on DVD comment: It has been on DVD before by Pioneer, but never has it been uncut and bilingual. Even though technically it's still "cut", lolz.

In case anyone's interested, FUNi put a new trailer of the set on their website.

The absence of a widescreen mention in that trailer is interesting . . . but we can't begin to make assumptions.

Well, the trailer itself was in widescreen, so...yeah. It's funny, though, because even if they did switch it back to fullscreen, they'd probably get just as much shit flung at them for changing the format yet again. It's a real lose-lose situation for them (if you ignore all the money they're making, that is).

And besides, the first Season trailer said:
For the first time ever, all 291 episodes will be presented consistently from beginning to end.
con·sist·ent : [adj.] constantly adhering to the same principles, course, form, etc.: a consistent opponent.

Widescreen is here to stay kiddos, stop the speculation. It's called "omission of facts", guys.

I see they're still going for the 'The way it was originally intended' BS. I figured they would have dropped that excuse by now.

I would think FUNi would be talking more about the fact that the episodes are in their original uncut format, not in terms of aspect ratio.
