Now that the Supreme Kai is in Future Trunk's Timeline...

Post by Esfír Dedragón » Fri Nov 04, 2016 4:54 pm

Wouldn't this be a great opportunity for him to go to Namek and use the Namekian Dragon Balls to bring back all the dead Z-fighters?

Not just them, but all the civilians that died due to the Androids and Goku Black's rampage.

Even after Goku and Vegeta somehow defeat Merged Zamasu, I think it would be nice to bring their alternate future counterparts back to life and restore peace on Earth. It could make for some interesting episodes if they decide to interact with each other.

Just a thought.
DRAGON BALL IS THE KING OF (Fighting) ANIME!!!!!!! In my opinion, at least...

My reaction to anything about Dragon Ball post-2013 that I don't like and/or is stupid. :P

Nope. They'll probably just revive all the humans that Zamasu killed, so Trunks mother Bulma will come back, but nobody else.

But why just them? What "In-Canon" reason could they give? Surely, Future Trunk's world would greatly benefit in having Future Goku and company back.

In Trunks' timeline they are dead for ... more or less 20 years? 25?

It'a a lot of time. Since then, their relatives moved on, and the dead Z-Fighters probably started new "life" in Other World.
Goku also could revive his grandpa Gohan, but what for? He has already moved on, and so did his grandpa in Heaven. Also Kamesenin could revive his mentor (his name's Mutaito if I recall correct) but what's the point if the guy rest in peace for centuries?

But I think they totally should revive those killed by Zamasu/Black. + it would be nice to see for eg. how Future Bulma sees Vegeta for the last time (especially that now Vegeta is a totally different man - he cares about other people, loves his family etc.).

This may be possible for the human Z-fighters, Gohan, and Goku. Logically it seems like they would not have been condemned, though I suspect only Goku and Gohan would have been allowed to retain their physical forms. Piccolo is a wild card since he wasn't necessarily evil at the time of his death, but he wasn't fully benevolent either. Perhaps Kami's insistence would allow him to escape Hell and reincarnation. Vegeta, on the other hand, should have long since been reincarnated into a new vessel. His soul is forever gone unless the dragon is capable of spiritually remigrating essences into old bodies.

In the process, they could request for Dende to become the new kami of Earth. It would resurrect the Dragon Balls on Earth, making them usable again.

I remember episode 63 mention that all of the Dragon Balls are gone in Future Trunks timeline. That means that Zamasu is likely blew up Planet Namek as well. Why do fans want Trunks wish back everyone that died from #17 and #18? They been dead for decades and move on in Other World. If they wanted to be wish back, they would have done it ages ago.

Since he (+ other Z-Fighters like Yamcha, Tien and Chaotzu) had already retained a physical form after death earlier, in Namek Saga, I don't see any reason why wouldn't he retain his body after the second death.

I think they were only allowed to retain their bodies due to Kami's recommendation. Without it, the humans would have likely been relegated to spiritual essences and Piccolo may very well have been forcibly reincarnated.
