I was having a talk with Lord Beerus and it occurred to me? Who handles TV rights outside of the USA? Toei or the local licensees? I doubt its the latter and I dont think Funimation does either.

In Europe, it is Toei Animation Europe, based in France.

I'd also be interested to know who owns the broadcast rights for Canada since the Westwood and Blue Water dubs aired there and Ocean Kai could theoretically air if a channel picked it up (which seems like it will be never, but its still a curiosity).

In Super's case the announcement specified broadcast opportunities for USA and Canada, so I'm assuming for this portion of the series it will be Funimation.
Do you have any info about international non-English broadcasts about the Dragon Ball anime or manga translations/editions? Please message me. Researching for a future book with Dragon Ball scholar Derek Padula will be writing
