Life-size seven-star ball, anyone?

Post by KinoFourpaws » Sat Apr 21, 2007 4:51 pm

Well, I was browsing through some older (read: dead) topics a few pages back in this section, and I re-discovered Corey's topic asking about Dragonballs listed for sale. Checking the links again, I remembered I'd linked to someone on eBay I'd seen selling life-size versions of the items back in December. So I decided to check to see if he had any new stuff up...

And while admittedly there wasn't as much as I'd hoped, I did find this in the way of Dragonballs.

Unfortunately, it's the only one listed, and from the looks of it, it'll be the last one available for sale (at least for a good while) once the auction ends. Makes me wonder whether I'd've found anything else had I looked at his page again earlier... :/

Just letting anyone who was interested in getting something like this know. The guy only takes PayPal, so that rules out anyone who doesn't have it (like me >_> ) from bidding for it. The auction's still got about five days to go before it ends.

Hope this helps someone here who was looking for something like this! ^^;
Art, etc. links taken down for now. Will be updated at some point. I dunno.

Heh, good luck indeed. Just be sure to watch for those last-minute bidders and I suppose you'll be fine. Glad I could help! :)

I hate those people. Except of course when I'm the last minute bidder. >> XP

Ehh, I remember those:
From the previous Dragonballs-for sale thread, I wrote:Actually, they are solid plastic, meaning not bouncy balls. I happen to have a set of them (courtesy of a friend) and they actually look kind of nice. However, they're about half the size of actual Dragonballs and there's this annoying little LINE that circles every one of them around its perimeter, showing you where the molds were put together. Oh, and the stars inside them (yes, they are actually inside) are kinda wonky...
They're all over the place. Yeah, decent for bookshelves, maybe, but that's really about it. o-o

Thanks for putting up that link, though; I did see this listed in the stores section of the results. Two hundred seventy dollars... whoo... @_@; But it's the full set, AND they're all life-size. They look really nice, too, from what I can make of it. That might interest a few people, certainly... >.>
