Not all serial killers have deep voices.

Whoa, whoa, whoa. WHat's all this talk of the episode coming an hour early?
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:

For the US. For us in the UK (and maybe parts of Europe?), it ended last week, so we're watching it an hour earlier than normal.

Daylight savings doesn't end until tonight/tomorrow morning, so this week it will be normal and then next week it will be an hour earlier.
Okay thanks.

It seems you were wrong. It did start an hour earlier tonight. I've already watched it.

It might sound weird if they drop the "u" completely...even in Japanese, the extent to which it's pronounced varies between characters, with the guy who was saying his name all the damn time ("Zamasu! I need tea, Zamasu!") being the one who always dropped the last sound, making it stick out more than the sort of half-dropping it that other characters do. To use another series as an example, it kind of irked me in the Kill La Kill dub when they dropped the "u" from "Senketsu" and "Mankanshoku"...I know they're trying to emulate the emphasis of the Japanese words better by doing it that way (and god knows I have my own quirks with spelling/accenting Japanese that other people undoubtedly find pretentious), but I'd prefer they not do that with Zamasu's name.

Probably the best way is to emphasize the "Za" more heavily, then kind of back off on the last two syllables. Worst case would be if they go with "zuh-MAH-soo", which would result in me just *flips table*. Please, anything but that cringe-inducing blatantly "foreigner" pronunciation!

It may be easier for others to pronounce it quickly, yet naturally. Let the "u" fall out of your mouth, so the speak. The letter isn't completely silent.

December 21st. But I heard this year will be earlier. I can't confirm for you, though.

I think it's the 17 or 18 this year.

An announcement that date makes me think the next arc won't start until February at least. Also, it would not be possible for the Manga to jump ahead, as it was stated, if we get a new arc in just two months. It wouldn't have the time to finish the current one, especially after the padding last chapter. I'm curious to see how the next few months will turn out, and i wouldn't be surprised with a March debut.

Yep, same here in Czech Republic. It is nice to have it finally one hour after midnight again!
But since it is on Daisuki, I watch the new episodes legally and don't have to opt for subpar stream with overloaded servers without subs.
It was due time, I had to torrent it with subpar subs with weird messages like: ''This weeks contest, answer this question'' or dumb jokes during eyecatches
and I really super super hate colourful karaoke subs in Japanese with another huge SFX subs in english during openings and endings.

I dunno, March seems a bit late, that would mean we'd have a lot of "filler" between arcs. I guess we'll have to see, Toyotaro's comment about going ahead of the anime is very weird.

Well ft arc was announced in may (I think it was may 9) and debuted June 11. So an announcement in December could mean a January release. Only weird thing is toyotorou thinking he's going to jump past the anime.

Since this is the official announcement thread, I guess I can throw that info in here instead of creating a new thread.

It has been officially confirmed that the Super manga will be released in France on April 5th.

This is from Glénat's twitter account.

The usual translator, Fédoua Lamodière, has already confirmed that she'll be the one handling the translation, much like for every other Glénat release for years when it comes to Dragon Ball (she also handled the translations for the anime comics of the TV series, of the movies - including the ones from Battle of Gods and the recently released Resurrection 'F'), the Perfect Edition of the manga, the quiz book...)
