That looks a lot like that kid from Future Trunk's world :shock:

He's one of the underground refugees that Mai and Trunks protects. I forgot which episode he first appears in but I forgot what name he was addressed as

This was one of AT's other works, published in 1988

His name is Haru. As for that being the same character... I doubt it. You'll find Toriyama tends to reuse character faces. He pokes fun at himself for it.

Oh a different character. Striking resemblance though! AT actually remembered a one-shot char from 1988

Toriyama has a penchant for recycling character designs throughout his various works, either in terms of a vague similarity between some or it being almost the literal exact same character appearance wise. If Toriyama himself designed Haru, then it'd be that kind of situation. It's also possible that Haru was a character design Toei Animation threw in as a reference to Mamejiro.
