Would you like it if GT characters were brought into the 12-Universe Tourney?

There's 12 Universes so maybe there could be 2 Universes that are GT based. I say 2 because apparently, each Universe has a "twin" in the 12 Universes. Like how 6 and 7 are apparently twins. There could be 2 Universes that are based off GT. Maybe one that the Shadow Dragons won and another where it's the usual GT.

Would you actually like it if they had a participating universe or two, that's GT based? And who would your picks be for a GT based 5-man team. No fusions of course, just as how Gotenks wasn't allowed entry

I personally wouldn't have GT as another Universe; I would chalk it up to a timeline. But still, yeah, I'd love a tournament in the format of the Universe 6 VS 7 one, that involves GT.

I'd have the team as Uub (or Majuub, depending), Trunks, Pan, Vegeta, and Goku.

GT is basically an alternate timeline where Beerus never visited the Earth. So Goku and Vegeta never discovered God Ki, they never knew about 12 other universes, and Zamasu never met Goku to carry out his plan.

I don't think GT can be alternate universe, there's no reason there should be other Z-fighters out there with the same exact backstories and personalities as our heroes. Its an alternate timeline.

I don't want Super to be tie in with GT. I guess it would be cool if Planet M2 got a cameo of Goku Black or Zamasu destroying it in a flash back though.

Nah. Not for the tournament arc.

That said, I definitely wouldn't mind a mini Super+GT Crossover manga from Toyotaro, or a special unrelated to anything, like the Tarble one.

Honestly, I'd like for GT to "exist" in Super's universe as an alternate timeline. That would shut up all those people who dismiss it solely for being "non-canon."

People only want this only so badly to see Super Saiyan Blue Goku/Vegeta fight Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Vegeta.

Even though Super Saiyan God should be able to knock out SSJ4's easily.

Yeah like someone else said GT wouldn't work as a different universe. It could be a different timeline though.

I don't know how I'd feel about a Super/GT crossover. On the one hand it could be fun for one of the Toei filler arcs and even though a lot people dislike GT I do think people would be excited to see the return of SSJ4 and obviously people would want to see SSJB Goku vs SSJ4 Goku. That would be pretty cool.

Some filler arc where Goku and Vegeta travel to the middle of the battle with Omega Shenron and the four of them quickly despatch him before fighting one another. Maybe even have SSJB Vegito vs SSJ4 Gogeta?

Fun but incredibly unlikely.

Other than that I wouldn't want it involved in no big part of the story.

It's just that, there's only so much strong characters you can create. AT would need to create 50 new strong characters for the tourney. I say 50 because U6 and U7 already has it's 10. Although I suppose the Super Staff could deal with that too

Not at all. Any closer than characters resembling some basic body types from GT (Shadow Dragons or SSJ4) and I'll be pretty annoyed. Keyword is resembling, by the way. An actual SSJ4- or Shadow Dragon-type character would be too close. I don't want GT anywhere near Super.

1) The Universe depicting Dragon Ball GT should be the one in where GT Gohan can go SSJ4.

2) Little Goku (GT), GT Vegeta, GT Gohan, GT Trunks, and GT Piccolo.

By the time GT ends, the only ones I can imagine as a 5-man team would be:

Vegeta, college girl Pan, Majuub, Goku (from whichever after-life with Shenron dimension he's in), Omega Shenron (somehow he's pulled out of the after-life for a one-day only deal thing)

Honestly, no. Let's Super be it's own thing and and let GT be it's own thing. The last thing we need is for Super's fucked up power scaling to spill over into the battles between a hypothetical SSJ4 tier character and a SSJB/SSJG tier character and send the Power Level threads into meltdown.

They could just go the Tenkaichi Budokai route and then Toriyama could make a lot less characters instead.

Pretty Much this.. Added to the fact that I have no interest in seeing Good Guy Goku go up against another Good Guy Goku ect.. Nothing would come of it. Plus DB Multiverse is doing a pretty good job satisfying my already small hunger of "what would happen if Cell won" fantasies.

In both cases no.

The only thing that I actually respect in GT is ssj4's design. As much as I would enjoy a clean HD version of him fighting, I don't won't to mess 2 different series.

I think I will stick with dragonball heroes openings.

Also there is no reason calling GT a "universe". Super pretty much explained everything in detail. GT is a reality where Beerus forgot to say Whis to wake him up.

The only thing that remains to be explained is, how did they defeat golden freeza ? Since his return to earth has nothing to do with both beerus or god ki being discovered, sorbet and tagoma would have resurrrected him likewise

U6 and U7 are twin, the others universe are completly different from U7 so it won't be possible.
I don't think the others others universe have an planet earth or Namek.
