Wasn't there talk right at the beginning about Goku not looking at the full moon? Or something about his Grandpa being killed by a mysterious monster?
If not, then yeah, that gets added to the list.

He mentioned Grandpa was dead right away, but the full moon monster was never mentioned, in the anime or manga, until just before Gokuu transformed in Pilaf's castle.
