This is an unpopular opinion, and it's extremely unlikely to happen, but I really feel like this arc should be the end for the series. I'm not interested in seeing yet another tournament arc, and I don't see where else they can really go by this point, in terms of villains. It seems like they've pretty much exhausted all their ideas.

The only thing I can think of is either Champa goes on a mindless rampage or one of the Whis/Vados angel people has a similar villain agenda, but then they would feel like rehashes of Zamasu. Its generally hard to think of where you can go from here.

I'm pretty sure we'll never see Trunks again. Next week is the last time we'll see him.

The point is they don't have top anything as evidenced through the entire series. After Beerus we had Freeza and after Freeza we had a friendly tournament with no real villain then we were presented with this arc. We had two arcs after Beerus that didn't try to top it until this third arc.

Gohan would not need to fight in the tournament. He will not bring anything to the team unless he is the strongest.

Agreed but Great Saiyaman could participate for the sake of old times and it would add flavor, then something really horrible needs to happen to his family so he gets his resolve to train for real, not how he felt after his latest encounter with Freeza to forget all about it the next day of the week lol

You can do loads of things, just take inspiration from other series.

You could do a ancient warrior of the past, a Sephiroph esque villian, an insane clown, the greatest assassin of Universe 7, a war criminal

IMO DB has a flavor of its own thus inspiration from other series should be limited to maximum, you suggest edgy things but don't forget Beerus is awesome and he is a freaking cat lol

Dragon ball takes inspiration from all other things so I don't see why not

They can do something Egyptian themed and do something related to Beerus as Beerus seems to be quite of that theme.

First thing I would like is for Goku and Vegeta to get new gi. I'm tired of the same outfit they had on since Z it's time for something new again. I say they jump ahead about 3 years so that way Goten and Trunks can age some and they trained too and can at least go SSJ2. All hope is not lost on them like it is on Gohan. I think the next villain should be another God of Destruction that comes to earth because of Beerus being friendly with them it angers this new God of Destruction. It gets Beerus involved and actually gives him a challenge and whis could too with the other attendant. Somehow everyone gets some evil power boost except Goten, Trunks, Goku and Vegeta because they were in the RoSaT during all this. Yes somewhat like Garlic Jr but without the dumbass biting people stuff.

Hopefully we get to see Planet Sadla and his king. I really really want to see Saiyan lore explained in depth and also the internal conflict that probably caused U6 and U7 Saiyans history to diverge.

Also surely Cabba going SSJ must have had an effect on the other Saiyans from U6? Did he try to teach it to them, or did he keep it as a secret? Was he the strongest Saiyan in base or is the king even stronger? Is the king named fucking Caesar??? Because that would be so epic.

What I expect from next arc is the multiversal tournament. There's no reason it won't happen as we already know it's happening and next episode Zeno is back, possibly telling Goku and Vegeta when and where the tournament is taking place and what rules will it have.
I hope to see Frost getting stronger, also the king of Sadla taking Magetta's spot as the robot refuses to battle because he got insulted last time.

Hopefully not a universal tournament, that would just be so incredibly boring, IMO.

Wouldn't mind seeing them lose their god ki somehow. That would bring them back down to reasonable levels. With SSB apparent'y being stronger than SSG (I don't agree with that, I think SSG is far above SSB), and all the power ups they have gotten since achieving SSB, they should be shaking the earth to pieces by now. It seems Toei realized this, and basically nerfed SSB to barely an upgrade over SSJ3.

I think a new villain would have to be introduced, or travel to a different universe, or something. DBS could run out of stream really fast if the next saga is just a universal tournament.

I think an interesting spin on things would be if another universe rebelled and started invading other universes. Something like a universal war. Maybe the god of destruction got larger plans and gathered his universe's strongest fighters as his invasion squad. Obviously, Zeno is a problem. Maybe there's a way around that, but that's not my job to think up.

Apparently, I'm not the only who wouldn't mind a multiversal war. I'd like to see it happen, though I can't help but feel that an arc like that should be saved as either the final arc, the penultimate (second-to-last) arc, or the third-to-last arc. Basically, I feel that it should be one of the final arcs of Super, if they do make a multiversal war arc a reality.
