Until literally now, I was using a (Kinda crappy) image I made basically by tracing over a screenshot of an Animaniacs episode, but I finally got tired of it. I'd created the original image because I couldn't find any images of animation cels I liked, and episode screenshots were generally too low quality to use(Even proper DVD-quality ones have rainbow artefacts, dot crawl, and are too low resolution). But, a few minutes ago, I found one I like from "Hooked On A Ceiling".

Anyway, I chose Yakko because I've been a fan of Animaniacs since I was very little, and I really love Yakko's expressions.
The point of Dragon Ball is to enjoy it. Never lose sight of that.

Silence, mortal! The Absolute God's justice will be swift and brutal upon foolish blasphemers who dare to perceive any flaws in him! Any supposed imperfections were clearly intentional, because mere humans are not even worthy of basking in his full glory

I used to have the black and white version, but then discovered that it was also used by another forum member. So... I upgraded to color!

Indeed. And you picked a shot of Cube from his prime years too (before he mostly sold out). This is easily my new favorite avatar in this joint. From around 1988 to 1996 or so, Ice Cube was absolutely peerless to just about any rapper on the face of the Earth, save possibly Chuck D. Amerikkka's Most Wanted, Death Certificate, and The Predator are flat out eternal in their perfection, never mind the classic NWA stuff before that.

And I got real good

And they moms is having a fit
Cause they died young, doing dumb shit"

Only Public Enemy and Poor Righteous Teachers ranked alongside Cube in utterly fucking nailing it so spot on back then.

So yeah. Anyway. My current avatar is Tony Leung's whacked out ridiculous rendition of Ouyang Feng from Eagle Shooting Heroes (Jeff Lau and Wong Kar Wai's bugfuck absurd spoof of Condor Heroes that I yacked a bit about in the wuxia thread). Eagle Shooting Heroes is still one of the single most joyfully hilarious and stupidly/wonderfully goofy things I've ever seen come out of wuxia media (which is saying quite a lot). And no matter how grim or dour my mood or the mood around me is, Leung's manic, dippy, hyper-sniveling version of one of my single all time favorite Wuxia villains ever is something that can never, ever NOT brighten my spirits.

I'm in the generation of fans that started with Toonami, so I totally empathize with the feeling of having "missed the party", experiencing disappointment, and wanting to experience it myself. But I can't, that's how life is. Time is a bitch. The party is over. Kageyama, Kikuchi, and Maeda are off the sauce now; Yanami almost OD'd; Yamamoto got arrested; Toriyama's not going to light trash cans on fire and hang from the chandelier anymore. We can't get the band back together, and even if we could, everyone's either old, in poor health, or calmed way the fuck down. Best we're going to get, and are getting, is a party that's almost entirely devoid of the magic that made the original one so awesome that we even want more.

Thanks bro! You got some good taste man. Cube was really chucking em out when he was in office. He was really up there in terms of the coolest rappers up there. And anyone who messed with him pretty much got annihilated. *Looks at "No Vaseline" and "King of the Hill"* Yup, that sounds about right

In the future, I might try creating a GIF of some of the album covers or something like that.

Also, nice avatar!

In my opinion, this is the best version of Goku's first Super Saiyan transformation by far.

My avatar comes from the second Devilman OVA, Siren the Demon Bird. Both of the Devilman OVAs from 1987 and 1990 respectively are fantastic watches and I'd recommend them. Lots of fun to be had, if you're into stuff like that! Anyway, my avatar is the main character Akira Fudou. Why did I choose this shot in particular? Well...

Pretty excited for the prospects of the upcoming new arc, especially if it does give at least little fights here and there to our other characters, so I thought I'd sport Kuririn going into battle mode for a bit, even if I haven't been posting quite as much as of late. Not sure how long I'll be sticking with this one though, as I have another avatar lined up for soon-ish, depending on things.

Even if he's my least favorite (vocal) N.W.A member, I love this picture and the hat makes it so much better.
