Will Hit try and Assassinate Goku?

I've been wondering when we will see Hit again and now I'm thinking that if he's not in the next tournament. Then he may very well get a contract to take Goku's life. This is all speculation but I think the fact that Toriyama decided to make him an assassin to begin with is interesting. Also that he would only fight at full strength if he was trying to kill goku, something goku wants. What could motivate a hitman more than the promise of reward. What do you guys think?

He would probably hesitate at the very least. I don't think he'd want to fight Goku in those circumstances; Hit seems to respect him enough to throw off a match against an easy opponent and effectively throw away his life (since he seemed to accept his fate when Champa was about to kill his fighters).

After what we've seen, I think he'd rather fight Goku, no strings attached, than have the battle as part of a contract.

But this is just my interpretation- I could be way off. Maybe that could just serve as an excuse to get him to pursue Goku and fight him. We haven't seen that much of Hit, so we'll have to wait till the 12 Universe Tournament. Hopefully we can get more insight on his job as an assassin.

Not assassinate, more like, fight at 100%, which would mean intending to kill.

I guess it could make an interesting story. If for no other reason than to just see Goku and Hit fight again. They would have to eventually confront whoever put out the Hit and find out why they want some dude from another Universe dead.

If he's enticed enough and he has plenty God-killing bullets in the weapons he uses for his regular assassinations, you never know...

I think an assignation contract would motivate Hit to go full power against Goku in the next tournament. Since it's likely that Zeno will oversee the next tournament, I hope that Hit's killing blow is diverted by 大神官 / Daishinkan so that we can see one of the top 5 fighters among all universes show us how it's done.

I just had the idea of how Hit would come back. I dont want the last tournament to come already so I wanted aat least 2 or more arcs in between. I want to know more about Hit before then.

Also, I don't read too much into the "Goku dies!" part of the episode title. For one, that is likely Champa's command. I would be extremely surprised if Goku actually dies. It would make for a pretty dark turn in a mini-arc.

Maybe this is all just a set up to have a big Christmas special that includes Universe 6 characters as well?

Beerus will go to Champa and be like "c'mon it is christmas no murder plz"

What if Goku is the one who ordered the hit, or requested someone like Whis to order it? He probably would do anything to get Hit to fight with his full power.
