Oh yeah, forgot about Mr. Satan's stuff. I'll probably still go check in with him on occasion just for free money and stuff, but Guru's House...is on it's own now. Already got the time egg, the extended point allotment, and the Dragon Ball upgrade (that I'm guessing only works once?), and that place is ALWAYS under attack. So yeah. Start picking up that slack, Nail.

You just fly around searching for them, when you see a big and purple sphere in a place you have never seen it before there, that's a new Expert Mission. If you don't want to search yourself, there are some videos on Youtube showing the exactly location.
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
If you want those messages about Guru's House to stop just lose one of Nails missions and DON'T do the Dragonball Recovery Quest. That way the House won't be attacked because the enemy already has what he wants. And there is no negative side effect, at least nothing happened to me (means: Freezer never uses the Dragonballs anyway) since then. You just "lose" the opportunity to gain some zeni and exp, that you can gather easier on PQs anyway.Gyt Kaliba wrote:Oh yeah, forgot about Mr. Satan's stuff. Expert Missions are available after the Cell Games Arc I think. But I could be wrong though since I tried them for the first time after I finished the Boo Arc.
If you finish all of Mr. Satans jobs he repeats the "Do 10 Quests" thing over and over again and you get always only 3000 zeni. So I did 10 quests and didn't get the reward. That stopped the Mr. Satan Messages as well. Now the only Messages that pop up are Kuririns Milk Delivery, Yamuchas Turtle Stone Training, when I gathered all seven Dragonballs and any Event News.

Take the eggs back to Supreme Kaibof time post credits for two extra fightsGyt Kaliba wrote:Cool, thanks!
Also, now that I've gotten that taken care of, I now have all five Distorted Eggs, so I can focus on the story, Parallel Quests, and mentors and ignore the Time Rift stuff unless I want to go do them again (screw you Guru's house, protect yourself for once! @_@), woohoo!

Thanks for the tips on Expert Missions and how to stop the annoying pop up messages guys. I'll have to give those a try.

Yup, already dropped them off with her so that I can do those as soon as I beat the game.Dbzfan94 wrote:Take the eggs back to Supreme Kai of time post credits for two extra fights

The rewards attacks system for parallel quest is exactly as disgustingly bad as the first game. I got the sequel yesterday, next day I got Z-Rank TWICE, both Ultimate Finishes, was supposed to give me the Kamehameha Wave. but it gave me EVERYTHING BUT THE ATTACK. THE SYSTEM IS STILL A CON!!!!!!

The only problem RNG gave me was to get Kaio-Ken. It took me a while to get it. All the other techniques I'd say it was what RNG is supposed to be, you might or not getting it in the first try, but in the second or third time you will.
Speaking of getting stuff, Potential Unleashed is way easier to obtain than I thought. No problem at all to get it.

I haven't actively started grinding for more moves/outfit pieces yet, but even just from the drops it does from playing the PQ's once, I can already tell the RNG is a LOT more forgiving.

Instead of that, they should fix the multiplayer lobby for those who keep getting disconnected and wants to play online. Think it's a more important matter.

Just did my first Expert Mission. They're certainly...different.
Kinda fun though, I'm sure they'll get pretty arduous and challenging later on though.
Edit: Got all the Dragon Balls together for the first time too, time for my first wish! Going for the extra characters I think.

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Okay. Has any one advice for the PQs 98 and 99? I know both hidden conditions are: Within 5 minutes.
But that's freaking impossible. Especially since the enemy ALWAYS perfectblocks IN EVERY moment, no matter how insane the situation is (during my dashes, during my ultimates, during every single attack, I'm in their back and they perfectblock) and they seem to have infinite stamina since they always use their "teleport" escape moves. Plus there are way to many enemies to beat in just five minutes. And of course the enemy is always at the far side of a giant map so if I beat them I have to waste 40 seconds to reach the gate to the next area (with another 4 enemies that are impossible to beat).
I tried everything: simply mashing them as hard and fast as possible with 125 base attack + base attack improving gear and transformation. Spamming the hell out of them with supers and ultimates using SV2 and Beerus Supersoul. It - does - not - help. At my best times I have 1 minute to beat 3 Metal Coolers and 1 Masked Bardock, but even Bardock alone I can't beat in that one minute. It's driving me mad.
Oh, those two are actually the last PQs where I have to do the ultimate finish (already bought the skills in the TP-Medal-Shop, so it's just about the win) and it doesn't count online, since the "??????" remain, even if I'm the host.
Edit.: So. 98 is done. Now I only need to complete 99.

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
I used Giant Storm. It got me past PQ99 when I was stuck. I asked for help before spamming that move. It wasn't too satisfying, but it worked.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
Spoiler:
Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
Thanks. It kinda worked. I find Giant Storm incredibely hard to pull off in XV2. Either the enemy simply moves to the side, the NPC kicks him out of the way or the enemy uses the "super dash" to instantly move behind and stamina break you. But it worked. And I had to finish Golden Freezer with my Final Kamehame Ha because... well because.dbzfan7 wrote:I used Giant Storm. It got me past PQ99 when I was stuck. And I even got a Dragonball out of it and Z rank. Now I don't have to play that PQ ever again. Litterally.
Yay! All PQs with hidden conditions completed! Now for the missing moves!

Re: "Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2" Official Discussion Thread
I am currently in Parallel Quest hell, post-Boo and post-Battle of Gods arcs in the story.
So many of these things to be completed before I move back into the story again. Thankfully I'm about at 60 now though.
Edit: Just hit level 80 though, woohoo! I didn't pull that off until way in the post-game material in the first one, and only barely hit 99 just before this game was out (or at least before I was able to play it).
