I'm telling you guys, I really feel like the arc following hot off the heels of the Zamasu arc might just be a Super Dragon Balls arc, in a similar manner to DBGT's Black Star Dragon Balls arc. Maybe both Shenron AND Porunga don't have the power to resurrect people from completely different timelines/parallel dimensions, and Shenron himself suggest that they talk to his "predecessor", Super Shenron, to grant their wish, since he seems to have no limitations to his power, sending Goku and co. off into space to look for the Super DBs between Universes 6 and 7.

A hunt for the Super Dragon Balls? I would aprove that, but would be a wasted potential on filler? Toriyama could just say: "Some point after Future Trunks arc, they made a trip to collect all the Super DB before the new conflict" no need to outline nothing, just a statement for the said arc could happen.

Remember that timeline discussion that was just going on in this thread? If there's a wish being made now, the Super anime either has to contradict its own continuity or disregard the canon timeline completely.
Unless you ignore the wish that wasn't actually made back in the Champa arc, we have to be 16 months after Resurrection F's beginning now, i.e a year after the Golden Frieza battle, because four months must have passed since that summoning. That means we're actually about to enter Age 781 without Bulla appearing and without anyone growing up. That's actually a major continuity problem. Trunks is about to become 15 years old, but he looks 8, and Marron's about to become 8 but looks 3. Present Trunks at 15 is way younger than Future Trunks at 14. What!?
If we do ignore that previous summoning, which would be the Super anime contradicting itself, we're still eight months after the Golden Frieza battle, and the problem hasn't been fixed at all. This solves nothing anymore.
That means that the only options we have left for a timeline consistent with EoZ and characters' looks (and Bulla's existence) is the manga, where Resurrection F didn't happen, so the Dragon Balls are free to go without even needing to leave Age 779... or the option where we ignore this new wish as well and place it alongside the previous wish under "didn't actually happen", which also might happen in the manga. Damn, why don't the anime writers consider that Dragon Balls can't be used all willy-nilly without waiting for at least four months first!?
In fact, a simple retcon statement from Dende that it always only takes four months to recharge now would fix everything. Maybe that's the logic they're running under. That would mean it's only four months after the Golden Frieza battle (the previous summoning was only a couple of days after), which means we're still early in Age 780 (around January/February) and not completely screwed timeline-wise. I don't like the fact that I have to come up with excuses for Super, though! Not at all!
I just... ugh. Feel free to correct me. I'm upset.

Oh, and the Super Dragon Balls aren't supposed to be active yet. A cockroach's lifespan (a year) hasn't passed. Unless there's a random timeskip between Episodes 67 and 68. Not that that fixes any of what I wrote above at all.

They used the Earth's Dragon Balls back in the Champa Saga, but made no wishes on them since Shenron couldn't find the last Super Dragon Ball. So they wouldn't have to wait a year to be reused.

A wish that concerns kame senin?!?! What.. but how.. Why.. is the Zamasu arc not over yet?
If we think it's future roshi then there wouldn't be a c-18 related wish..

If this is true then I think it's probably going to be something like someone wishes Andriod 18's breasts to get smaller. That's the only connection between the two I can think of!

Definitely Shen Long isn't going to revive all the people who Zamas and Gokū Black killed in the future, or that is what I think. Maybe a anime only mini-arc searching the Super Dragon Balls? so they make a bridge before the announcement of the new arc in December.
