Exactly Vegeta wouldn't even risk saving the universe and becoming a BAD@$$ warrior for a few minutes over a silly dance while the bingo dance only succeeds in him losing all dignity... ugh character progression doesn't mean you do a complete 180.

Any theories as to what Toyotaro will do with Black's backstory? He's clearly not going to have Goku and Zamasu actually meet but rather have Goku's reputation precede him so there probably won't be a loop going on.

I'm not sure what you mean, in the anime Black and Zamasu exist at the same time, Black is just a version of him from later on in the timeline.

I'm hoping the manga shows us more stuff that happens off screen. That way it's more of a supplement to the show than an adaptation.

And both met Goku, that's why people saying it's a loop? My point was that if Black already exists, but the Zamasu watching Goku will be the one who become the latter, that would still be a loop, wouldn't?

It's a loop in the anime because the only reason Goku would fight Zamasu is because Trunks went back in time, Trunks wouldn't go back without Black and Black doesn't happen unless Goku fights Zamasu.

Toyotaro may end up doing something similar but the loop already becomes much less likely with Zamasu learning of Goku through his reputation which doesn't need Trunks' time travel to happen. Even if he does have Goku & Zamasu meet in the next chapter, it still isn't a loop since the starting point of Zamasu's interest in Goku comes from the tourney & Supreme Kai, two events that're completely divorced from Trunks' antics.

He can still have them meet. For example when they go visit Kibito, Zamasu could be there and Goku could request a fight.

Most definitely but by not making that the inception of Zamasu's obsession over Goku but rather just another stage of it, Toyotaro has avoided the anime's loop problem.

I don't think zamasu will meet Goku and I also think we will see what happens in the timeline he becomes black.

Things I'm noticing that has me pumped!

Looks like Merged Zamasu but more of a fusion. The face is like Gokus but much more evil and with Kaioshin elements. Much better than the hair swap we got. Also looks like he got the huge Kaioshin bang in addition to Gokus hair. Very nice! Also noticed they appear to be in some sort of chase with Gozawa and Supreme Kai even rolling along.
