What will happen if Goku dies?

If he dies because of Hit what could they possibly do?
Will Hit actually tell them who hired him as maybe all he cares about is getting paid and not keeping his employer a secret . Will he automatically help Vegeta, Piccolo, Bulma and the rest as that would be good.

If it is a proper arc then as long it is just not Vegeta going around with Beerus and Whis then it should be good.

This is most likely a filler arc.. so goku dying will not have major consequences as it's will be over in 2-3 episodes..
Hit most likely will not be able to kill Goku..
But the translation states goku dies, probably Vegeta will beat hit..

Or Gohan will snap, and as intelligent as he is find a way to counter tokitobashi effectively.. hit is not near as powerful as ssb so Gohan should be able to manage if he can at least pull out mystic..
Base goku fared pretty okay against hit.. Only problem he had was his strategy was not effective enough, he had to use ssb to compensate with speed..

I think its going to be one of those situations where the viewer is left thinking Goku actually died, so that he can come back and say "hey, I almost died but I'm ok". That happened in several occasions in Dragon Ball: when old Piccolo Daimao almost killed Goku, when Reccome almost killed Gohan, or even when "Namek exploded" which actually preceded the longest 5 minutes ever. Although it's very possible I can be totally wrong.

I don't think there is much of a difference when it's a researchers academics we are talking about..
It takes imagination and creativity to come up with ideas and theories..

He very well could come up with some theory to counter tokitobashi, as it involves time travel and thus also scientifically possible..

But I know it's just a pipe dream prove me wrong toie ..

We do not know if it is filler though. Anyway he xan die and come back for some sort of final fight. This is the perfect oppurtunity for other characters. It would also make sense if Hit does it as well.

However, the titles posted are a little bit misleading. It's not "Goku dies" it's something like "Goku has to die"

Whis, Beerus, and Vegeta would go investigate if he is killed by Hit.

Gohan and the other Z fighters are useless vs Hit, unless they receive a significant power boost.

Actually, it would be the SECOND time he dies without sacrificing himself. Well, I guess it WOULD be the first time, depending on whether or not you count Zamasu's (Black's) action of murdering Goku in cold blood and the actions of Future Trunks and Beerus more or less undoing that sequence of events.

Just use the Namkian Dragon Balls and wish him back to life. At this stage, someone dying in Dragon Ball is the equivalent of have a flat tire. It's a annoyance and nuisance when it happens, but it can be fixed pretty quickly.
