Just let it go. Gohan is finished. They do not give two shits about him. It was a miracle they even gave a shit about Trunks. Maybe testing the waters with Trunks means they'll let more older characters shine, but do not at all even try to get your hopes up for that. The sooner it's let go, the sooner the pain stops.

Am i the only one not hyped by this new arc? Using a character we already know instead of something new. At this pace the series is going way too slow. I want to see the other Gods of Destruction already! Gimme the tournament arc! Instead of all these stupid mortals appearing and fighting on par with our godly Goku and Vegeta.

Now THIS sounds like fun. That whole Copy Vegeta nonsense tried too hard to tell a post-arc side story, which caused it to fail. Can't wait for the baseball episode.

It's really funny to me how the tone of the ad is all like "ZOMG guys, you can't miss this shit, it's awesome, definitely must see!!!", then they show us a bunch of clearly filler-ish titles

It all sounds like fun (especially the baseball one), but I'm very curious about the Hit plot and if it's the start of something bigger. A full page spread seems like a bit much to advertise a one-off episode...could either be a mini-arc, or the next major arc. Though the timing is bit strange if it's the new arc...the ad doesn't show any episode airing on Christmas (though maybe there will be and the title just isn't finalized yet?), and there definitely won't be one on January 1st, so would they really have the first episode of the arc airing right before before a two-week break? That seems like a major dick move!

What if Hit is looking for Goku Black? Black has been meddling around in the different universes. Only think I can't explain is how a different timeline would bring Hit and Black together so its probably unrelated.

Is there any proof that this will be another mini arc? I think this upcoming arc could be the rumor Toriyama announcement that will happen in December. If Hit kills Goku around December 18, it could air when Toriyama makes his official announcement.

Show will air on the 25th but the week after will the be the break. Last time Xmas fell on Sunday was in 2011 and One Piece still aired.
The first week of January seems to always be a break.

I think Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo and Cabba will go to Universe 6 to stop Hit and find out who killed Goku. Maybe make it a bigger risk if Hit use a special attack that won't allow the Namek Dragon Balls to wish him back. Only the Super Dragon Balls can somehow to make it more interesting.
