Erm, better than Xenoverse, except for story which is pretty weak and don't expect changing any history how they advertised.
If we go by videogame rating overall, I'll give the game 6,5/10.

I wonder what will they do for Story Mode chapters for DLC? I hope they do something different then just you and Goku fighting Frost then you and Vegeta fighting Cabba and later you and Goku fighting Hit under Mira & Towa's dark magic.

Do we happen to have a full outfit piece list for the game yet, at least for all the new outfits? I'm working on unlocking them and other moves now, and a list would be handy (for the old outfits, I should be able to use the list from the first game easily enough I suppose).

Am I the only one who kinda does want the U6 arc in Xenoverse. Like you have to infiltrate by taking Majin Boo's place, cause let's face it he did nothing in this arc and deal with wacky tournament shenanigans and evil aura stuff. I'd love for the quiz to even be part of it. Or maybe even Beerus and Whis choose you and Monaka...or maybe just you over Monaka as Monaka is shit.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

That the world they're invested in isn't going to bend to external factors that are irrelevant to them.
An author can do whatever he wants with the characters, that's not false. But the author should also have the responsibility to make sure it fits in cohesively with the other events in the narrative he has created.
We have Super Villain Omega Shenron (Time Break Super Yi Xing Long) and he has no role in the story mode. It would be interesting if they use him in DLC story mode chapters.

I have a strange feeling this pack will be split into two, kind of scared about that. And you couldn't just show up in the tournament and help Goku beat Hit, because it's 1v1 not 2v1. I wouldn't be suprised if there is no story for the Dragon Ball Super DLC's, just parallel quests.
The Changes wouldn't be that hard to implement:
For Universe 6 DLC you could just replace Buu in the tournament and fight the powered up versions of the Universe 6 cast. Maybe Botamo and Magetta could be replaced by a movie villain or Bardock: we still don't know his whereabouts (he could be in anytime)
For the Zamasu DLC, Omega Shenron could destroy the potara earrings forcing Goku and Vegeta to fuse becoming SSB Gogeta (SSB Vegito will still be playable)
For a Baby Vegeta DLC, you fight Baby Vegeta normally but he gets sucked into a wormhole which brings him to Hatchiyack where they become the ultimate tuffle: Baby Hatchiyack or maybe Baby Vegeta gets sent to Conton City and takes over TIme Patrol Trunks?
For a Movie Character DLC, the movie characters are revived with some new movie characters battle Bardock pushing him into a corner and you have to help Bardock defeat them with the help of the Toki Toki City Hero. (The new movie Characters would include - Super Garlic Junior, Super Android 13, Super Bojack and Tapion who is powered up by Darkness (who transforms into Hirudegan) this will include time breaker versions of each of the new characters and time breaker versions of Turles and Lord Slug) After Defeating them, Bardock joins the time patrol and you and the Toki Toki City Hero have a battle with each other.

Maybe that's just one of the last things they're planning to add? These aren't all the files so it could be that SS Kaybe will be a variation, like Bardock.
