I don't think any explanation is necessary for matchups that are extremely obvious, if you were to match SSJ Goku against Nappa I think we all know the outcome.

They may be obvious to you, but if someone posts a hypothetical battle, they're probably in need of clarification on some level. More than that, responses like these are against the forum rules that you agreed to when you signed up here.
Anyways, If someone did post Super Saiyan Goku vs Nappa, I'd probably voice some confusion and bewilderment, but I would briefly explain why Goku would stomp Nappa into the dirt. I'm not asking for a five-paragraph essay. Just a short, one to two sentence response should suffice.

Okay, I'll be blunt, I think we have to be very careful with how use Beerus in hypothetical battles because we have no true idea of how strong Beerus is. The 10% line in the anime was practically retconned out following the events in the Champa/Universe 6 arc. I honestly have to go with Beerus because there's really no way to scale how strong Beerus is beyond "he's weaker than Whis".

There's only so much you can inflate his power, right? Eventually they've got to put a limit on him, surely with Kaioken x20 SSRose Black could reach his level.

It would be pretty absurd if even Kaioken x20 doesn't give SSRose Black enough power to take Beerus, he's already far above SSG Goku and if even multiplying that isn't enough to reach Beerus, I don't see why on earth Beerus would be satisfied with his battle with SSG Goku, if anything it should have been boring as hell going against a guy who can't even match 1% of his power.

Thought the answers were pretty obvious... anyway:
1. Present Zamasu was below Ssj2 Goku, who totally outclassed him. Of course Ssj God is leagues about Ssj2 and Zamasu himself. So he'd literally one-shot him.
2. Abo and Cado were weaker than Base Goten and Trunks. So, since Base Goku (BOG saga) couldn't beat Full power Frieza (Namek), it's pretty obvious that Abo and Cado are trash compared to 17 and 18.
3. GT Vegeta, back in the Baby saga, was much stronger than both Gohan and Goten. The gap becomes more and more enormous during the Super 17 saga, where Goten and Gohan get stomped by Super 17, while Vegeta lasted way more than them.
