That's what I do now whenever I feel like seeing the older stuff. I can make it as fast or as slow as I wantLord Beerus wrote:"Just read the manga. It's better."ekrolo2 wrote:I can't imagine watching that Goku vs Beerus fight in one sitting and not trying to lobotomize myself with a spork. Hell, I can barely rewatch Goku vs Freeza even in Kai cause it just won't fucking end, and that's a fight I think is majoritively good!
As most people would say.
If Super ends one day.....

When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

It did so for Z. For example, when originally watching, back in the day when I was a kid, the Gohan filler in the Saiyan arc seemed to go on forever, especially since we knew Vegeta and Nappa were coming so that will be the main event and that made it pretty annoying to sit trough. Then, when marathoning the show I found it helped flesh out the story much better and I now think it's a highlight of the arc.
But the biggest wonders it did is it helped me sit trough the Cell arc, starting from Piccolo vs 17 up to the Cell Games. That whole portion is insufferable, but knowing the good stuff is just around the corner helps a lot more. I think if I had to watch that weekly I would outright drop the show, at least for a while.
Also, I've already marathoned the whole BoG arc in one sitting and the biggest problem I had with it, the pacing, was much alleviated. There are a couple of episodes that outright drag and should have been trimmed down a ton, or outright cut entirely, but when taken as a whole, they fly by. I also watched the whole Goku vs Freeza fight and, while it is not good by any means, I found about 50% of it to be decent (sprinkeled trough, of course) and not unwatchable like I did at first.
So, for short, yeah. Once it's all done, it's probably going to be more well recieved.

I've already tried re-watching DBS, the results are not very good. It bores me to the point where I'd rather spend my time on studying. To re-watch DBS is more tedious for me than to re-watch GT.
Retired.
