I get what you are saying. However I took that as Beerus just being a a hole more than anything else. It could be possible because the new GoD would be angry at Beerus and wanting to destroy him for not doing his job.ckal9 wrote:Considering in the Future Trunks arc after Beerus killed Zamasu, he said Zamasu/Black Goku was none of his concern in the other universe, I doubt this would happen.THEGOKU wrote: I think the next villain should be another God of Destruction that comes to earth because of Beerus being friendly with them it angers this new God of Destruction. Re: What now?
LOL like it really matters what you'd think about that in terms of what is stronger. How can SSG be Stronger than SSJB? You are joking or? SSG was only reached by Son Goku by the help of all "Saiyajins" and only been used in the Movie and never came back. While SSJB has been trained with the Angel called Whis and is actually the Super Saiyajin form of the SSG form btw.ckal9 wrote:Hopefully not a universal tournament, that would just be so incredibly boring, IMO.
Wouldn't mind seeing them lose their god ki somehow. That would bring them back down to reasonable levels. With SSB apparent'y being stronger than SSG (I don't agree with that, I think SSG is far above SSB), and all the power ups they have gotten since achieving SSB, they should be shaking the earth to pieces by now. It seems Toei realized this, and basically nerfed SSB to barely an upgrade over SSJ3.
I think a new villain would have to be introduced, or travel to a different universe, or something. DBS could run out of stream really fast if the next saga is just a universal tournament.
I think an interesting spin on things would be if another universe rebelled and started invading other universes. Something like a universal war. Maybe the god of destruction got larger plans and gathered his universe's strongest fighters as his invasion squad. Obviously, Zeno is a problem. Maybe there's a way around that, but that's not my job to think up.

Re: What now?
You know, quite a while back I predicted that DBS would end up having a Super Dragon Balls story arc in a similar manner to DBGT's Black Star Dragon Balls story arc, all for the sake of rebuilding Future Trunks' world. Maybe that's what the next arc will be about.
I mean, if the Omni-King doesn't simply help re-build Future Trunks' world with the snap of a finger, of course.

1) SSG was in DBS.SuperRose wrote: only been used in the Movie and never came back. While SSJB has been trained with the Angel called Whis and is actually the Super Saiyajin form of the SSG form btw.
2) SSB is not the "SSJ form of SSG". SSB is a transformation utilizing god ki.
Re: What now?
Yes it is. That is precisely what a scan says: "A god turning into Super Saiyan". Also, the name "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" pretty much sums up what the transformation is about. And also, the hairstyle suggests that, why Super Saiyan God keeps the base hair, and then comes a next level which leaves the person with his Super Saiyan hair?ckal9 wrote:2) SSB is not the "SSJ form of SSG".

You do not transform into the form SSB from SSG. It is not the same. As Goku/Beers fight explained, Goku just retained some god ki, and can now use it for a different transformation. SSGSS is not even a cannon term to the DBS anime or manga, just the movie.

This wish might just have been granted.precita wrote:They better give Yamcha a filler episode. He hasn't done anything in Super other than slap Beerus on the back and point out that Beerus was in Monaka's costume fighting Goku.

Re: What now?
Accordingly to Toyotaro's manga, yes you do. Goku vs Hit fight in the manga, Goku transformed into Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan from Super Saiyan God.ckal9 wrote:You do not transform into the form SSB from SSG. It is not the same. Damn, stop saying stuff that I need to reply with "yes you do/yes it is". "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" is a term that appeared in the manga as well (the part which Goku bit his tongue in a gag moment), so yes it is, "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" is a canon (one "N", not two. Two "N" is what you use in wars) term.

Re: What now?
I think there is a lot of room for stories in Super. I think we don't need to have the last villain to be stronger than the last one to be powerful and a major threat. Dragon Ball needs to move on from ABC logic and so far Super is doing that (Golden Freeza is weaker than Beerus, but still a threat to Goku and the others). Dragon Ball has been criticized for being too repetitive with the story, so at least Super is doing something different.

Re: What now?
I'm incorrect about the manga that's ok. I have not read most of the manga. I don't consider the manga more valid cannon than the anime, in fact I think it is less so. So in regards to the anime, what I said previously is correct.Grimlock wrote:Accordingly to Toyotaro's manga, yes you do. I can't see the link at work but thanks. I have been corrected about the term appearing in the manga once.
