On another subject, you really have to give props to Mr. Toriyama (and Toei, by extension) for this arc. Those of us that enjoyed it can gladly declare it one of the best arcs in Dragon Ball.

Agreed! The Future Trunks arc (but Zamasu arc would be a better name) was fantastic from start to finish, in my opinion. Even loved some of the most polarizing things in it, like Trunks' new form, and the ending.

Not so new, but what are your thoughts regarding the second panel for this promotional material?

Funky as all hell. Also, Cabbe sounds alright, but I prefer Cabba.

Just a random thought, If Goku can go Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan Blue, and Rosè is Black's version of Blue, could Black have been able to become a regular Super Saiyan?

Probably, but why would he need to? He's already a God, so he would already be able to become a SSB. Also, according to the anime, he's just as good as SS3 without transforming at all, regular Super Saiyan would be unnecessary. Although, I do think that the golden hair would work aesthetically.

To be fair, he was pretty clearly above SSJB Vegeta in Base, as we saw in Episode 56. So he's actually better than Blue without transforming at all.

That's not what I gathered. He was surprisingly better and quicker than Vegeta thought, but not necessarily greater than Vegeta himself. Remember, Black was only taking punches until the SSR reveal.

He'd probably use regular SS for the same reason he goes Rosè against Blue, even though he's faster and/or stronger in base, apparently: because he can. Or maybe he could use it to wail on weaker enemies he deems unworthy to use Rosè on?

So the timeline stuff that was proposed to happen at the end of episode 67. Have I got this right?

Whis is going to use the time ring to go back to before Supreme Kai was killed and when Beerus was alive so this would be before Babidi showed up so it'd be a year before the current future timeline.

He's going to get Beerus to beat Zamasu and then Whis will seal him away so there's no problems.

So Bulma should be alive yes? Babidi and Dabura will show up but Trunks will easily kill them by himself now? And this is creating another new timeline which would be timeline #5?

Ehhh I dunno bit I looked it up on the wiki and they have there as being 6 timelines which is confusing enough to me but as long as I've got it mostly right that's all that matters.

Yeah I don't think anyone was ready for what he would eventually become or see him as a favorite villain. That initial drawing did not say any of what his character would come to be at all.

BTW, Senbei should be quite old at this point of the series. I wonder if they'll age him up, or say something silly like he invented something to make himself young. There's also a point in the manga where they look in the future and there are 8 or 9 Gatchans (because they multiply every few years), so I don't know if they'll use that many Gatchans or just use two like before.

To be clear, Dabura only killed the Supreme Kai in the manga. In the anime, no such thing was every stated and it's heavily implied Black killed all the Supreme Kais himself. So they just have to go back far enough to keep Black from recuiting Future Zamasu and killing Future Gowasu.

That is why the saga is called Future Trunks Saga and not the Black or Zamasu Saga. Zamasu's role in the story was kept vague and it was an open question if he was an ally, a villain, or someone neutral. Black being Zamasu is also a big reveal. They named the saga the way they did to hide who was the villain.

I have no idea, a guy on reddit sent me it but still hasn't told me where he found it. He also did a color change on the SSJ hair and made them classic yellow, I could have trolled many people if I posted that one
