I'm fine with Gohan having been tossed aside.

Mate you're talking as if Gohan was an actual human being instead of a fictional character lol
Anyway I agree he doesn't want to fight, he said many times he doesn't like it, yet he has made a great impact as a warrior in the fanbase, all he needs is reasons, and TBH he had a great one during RoF, and he realized himself that he had to be stronger enough to protect his family in extreme situations, never understood why they dropped it lol

Please understand Gohan fans are Gohan fans because Gohan is awesome and his place is not where ChiChi think it is lol
But is his place where his "Fans" want him to be? He could have trained if he wanted to, he doesnt want to.
Why are you treating Gohan like a human being ?

I find it outrageous and out-of-character that Goku has never once kissed Vegeta despite spending three years with him in the Room of Spirit and Time.

I put this post in the wrong thread, but because it was quoted before I could delete it, it's just going to have to stay here like a refugee from an alternate timeline.

The only negative is that the main protagonists are still the ortogonal heavy hitters of Z. Despite having kids and even grandkids, the story is basically washing them to the side and making them mean nothing. Goku and Chichi could have a third kid in the next episode and it will bring zero to the story besides a fun little footnote. At least in Z, the next generation wasn't totally useless.

Why is that a negative? It's been Goku's story from the beginning, and should stay that way to end.
