Where Has Majin Buu Been In Super?

One thing I noticed is that Majin Buu has really been left to the sidelines in Super. He was invited to the tournament, and one of the biggest sins in that Champa Arc was that we never got a chance to see him fight. They made up an annoying excuse to keep him out of the fighting.

Then came this Future Trunks Arc and we haven't seen him at all. I mean not even one brief cameo despite other more insignificant characters such as the Pilaf gang appearing many times during the Arc.

He's the strongest Z fighter after Goku and Vegeta (not counting FT), I know he wouldn't do anything against Zamasu, but his absence throughout the entire Super series as a whole is strange.

In fact Boo could absorb Zamasu. Better than Mafuba.
Majin Boo could be very userful, but they forgot him.

Buu is done. Not enough people really cares about him. Compared to Gohan or even Piccolo, you never see "bring buu back" threads or anything. I think people would rather see Krillin or Tien over Buu despite Buu being incredibly useful. I believe Gohan will make a comeback before Buu does anything in the series.

If they need a gag episode centred around food, they'll call him. Apart from that, his fighting days are pretty much over.

GT barely did anything with Fat Buu either before he fused with Uub.

I don't know why they don't like using him. Toriyama seemed to like him well enough to have him survive the end of the manga.

Simple reason, he is too op..
That guy survived more hits from beerus than Goku Vegeta and Gohan combined.. and still got up after that just fine..

Do you think hit's killing techniques will work on him? He has no pressure points.. what you gonna strike..

Strongest after goku and Vegeta with immortality at his side and nearly infinity stamina with regeneration form atoms itself..
Way too op if you ask me.. there is no good way to beat him in a prolonged fight besides plot requirements..
My guess is toriyama saw this and decided to keep him out form story.. written test was invented just to keep buu form killing everyone there..

Though I think super namekian god Saiyan 2 buu form was much better..

Fat Buu's design is basically a negative stereotype. I mean he basically looks like a fat Asian. That was the whole concept of his design. It's fat-shaming because Buu is fat and all he wants to do is eat.

It is pretty weird he's been skipped out on so much.

Battle of Gods arc is the only one he did anything and that was to show off how deadly Beerus was by getting absolutely trashed.

He hibernated through Revival of F, whilst more popular characters such as Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Tenshinhan and even Roshi fought.

Universe Tournament arc Vegeta's suggestion ended up screwing him out of plot importance for a gag...although this really was just a Vegeta and Goku fanservice arc guest starring Piccolo briefly.

Black/Zamasu arc he's...actually was it ever even explained what he was upto? I think he's one of the few characters that didn't appear at all.

But that kinda create a plot hole as to why they DON'T bring him to fights. I mean he could of absorbed Zamasu or turned him to candy and everything would have been over. Also it upsets me that Future Trunks never met Buu since his reactions would have been fantastic! Huge missed opportunity.

It's not about the power but the hax that comes with it..
Zamasu was not even ss2 goku level..
With an immortality worse than buu, he was wreaking havoc on two SSB, granted as a meat shield most of the times, but he was still keeping up with ssb goku..

Cut merged zamasu in half he wasn't able to regenerate, he fell apart..
Blast buu to atoms, wait some seconds, you have buu ready to whoop ass again..

Also buu has magic.. absorption, blasting holes in dimensions, infinity power and is nearly immortal..

I can see him being a beast when left to fight

Damn... I actually forgot about him completely during the FT saga.

It would be nice to see him be relevant though. Maybe even master his other Majin transformations.
