Why Hit killing Goku makes sense and a believable start to an arc.

I don't want either of them getting killed.

But death has insurance in the Dragonball world my friend, there would be nothing to worry about. It would raise tension in the show, something that's been lacking a bit with the exception of the last few episodes of the FT arc.

I believe she is not worried about their deaths, but that would mean they will be off-screen for a while

I doubt he is Omnipotent since those type of characters are always 100% perfect. His future timeline version was unaware who Goku was and what was going on.

I think that would be more relative to omniscience, but I agree that neither he's omnipotent and his name doesn't means that as well.

There are some excellent threads on his character analysis. The character is surprisingly deep in what he represents but it's typically lost of the more simple fan base who simply don't understand. In the same way the Hulk represents the inner savagery of man, Broly is a poetic representation of the cruel and powerful saiyan race personified. The irony being that a saiyan who shed his saiyan roots is the only thing capable of stopping the pure personification of the saiyan race.

I usually hate when people throw around the word "lazy", but thats basically what I feel like Broli was. I think Toei got lucky with how popular Broli was, considering he's just some testosterone fueled screamer.

As far as I know, Zen'ō (全王) means Lord/King of all. Zen'nō (全能) is the one that means omnipotent.

Goku dying won't make me like other characters more. I already know which ones I like and why. I'd love for them to have more screen time but Goku doesn't need to die for that to happen. If you think it does go watch or read Hunter x Hunter which manages to incorporate TONS of characters and give them all enough time to be liked while advancing the plot.
