But in a different way because Beerus & Whis are enjoyable they don't have to train because they are strong and still are funny and badass all the time
I think fans are to focused on people like Gohan,Piccolo training becoming stronger etc but in my opinion it is boring and would destroy the powerlevels
even more in my opinion...

I think mostly the earthlings and Piccolo are basically done for. When people try to gather ideas to bring them back especially they sound really contrived. Beerus and Whis are different from normal, but they are still definitely part of the main cast now. They are more active than most of the earthlings post saiyan arc imo.

I would like if Super brought in Gohan, Goten and Trunks though; and maybe add in another new character to the main cast. But asking for some characters like Yamucha, Ten, and Kuririn to make a legitimate return is silly imo.

I agree with this completely. It wouldn't mess anything up if Gohan, Goten, and trunks became relevant. They have always been known to jump over their father's with much less time training. However, I disagree with this notion that Beerus and Whis are suitable replacements. Do they fight or really contribute to the plot in meaningful and interesting ways? Not really. Most of the time they just eat, besides for some last minute hax every now and then. New characters? Fine. But bring in ones that can be considered equal with Goku and Vegeta. Not so far above them that they have to be written the way B and W are.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

Yeah, I kind of think Beerus and Whis would be better if they were at least a little more active. I like their involvement in the FT arc, but I'm still waiting on Goku and Vegeta to become somewhere close to Beerus so he could be dragged along on some adventures. Whis doesn't really have to change, though imo. But I thinks a dynamic with those 3, Gohan, and a slightly older Goten and Trunks would be cool if Super was going to play it safe with the main roster.

Considering all the contrived shit of GT and Super, there really isn't any other place I think they can go that's more ridiculous.

Goku dying by Hit wouldn't make a difference since he'd just go to Kaiou's and interact with the cast anyways. He just wouldn't fight until he got revived.

Yeah that's why I don't get this whole Goku dying thing. It literally means nothing. Just like how Piccolo got revived with the Dragon Balls of Namek, so would Goku. We've long established death is pretty inconsequential, unless you're a bad guy....or maybe death by one of the super gods or something...

I knew someone would say this. :P

Even though some things like SSJ God may seem a little contrived, it didn't seem too forced. I just think that the earthlings have been out of commission a little too long for it not to be jarring to get a super power boost. Shit like Golden Freeza is a good example of it being forced to the point where it's kinda dumb.

Z ain't really innocent either, but with the extreme levels of contrived lately, I'm just waiting to hear "The humans trained in my ROSAT Staff for a couple years and are now super strong after bribing us with loads of food." It'd be contrived, but make sense and not surprise me.

So I was just thinking...technically Beerus and Champa created Goku Black right? If Zamasu had never seen the tournament he never learns about the Super Dragon Balls and never goes on his murder spree. Trunks universe is never destroyed...so forth.

By that logic, the ones who technically created Goku Black could be the ones who chose them as Gods of Destruction. Or Zeno's fault for creating a universe in which that was possible. Blame inherently contains an infinite regress, so it's best to say that Zamasu has his own agency, and leave it at that.

Not really.

Them being appointed was a necessary action (or so I'd believe) holding a tournament was basically a fit of childish rage. Blame does not go back infinitely, you can easily pinpoint one action among many that was out of line that caused the first domino to fall. Technically you are right, but their decision to divulge in childish disputes was not a needed action.

For some reason the baseball episode has potential in giving us more development for Vados and Champa, they likely learned a lot from U6 Earth Culture(besides food) and thats how Champa came up with the idea of a baseball game.

I think Champa should win, setting up the rubber match for the Omniverse Tournament IMO

Forget Champa and Vados episode 70 is going to be important for Yamcha.

U mean how he will screw up again? Thats another known gag in DB, how Yamcha screws up everytime he is in the spotlight.

Hm.. Looks more like the animes version than I thought. Seems like he still has Zamasu's face and color. This art is really great though. The positioning, poses, faces are all great.

Damn Goku's pose looks weird for some reason and I keep on thinking that his left arm is dangling.
His gi is also yellow, which I suppose makes sense given the light his aura would produce just like in DBZ.
It also looks to be matching the rose that Kibito compared it to back in Z more than the usual color does.

Maybe it actually is..
It could be in the outline Goku's arms don't work anymore..
He had that part in the anime after all
