Inevitably we are going to get a new transformation for Goku and Vegeta, as is what happens with Dragon Ball.

So what form do think they will go with next? I personally hope it isn't another color like Super Saiyan Green, and I also hope it doesn't disregard the fact that SSBlue seems to be the peak of Saiyan power. They will have to come up with a damn good reason why the Saiyans will transform again.

Grade 2 was the peak of Saiyan Power when Vegeta dominated Cell with it.

Super Saiyan 2 was the peak of Saiyan Power when Gohan turned the tables on Cell to the point where he could only gain the upper hand by becoming a Super Saiyan 2 himself.

Super Saiyan 3 was the peak of Saiyan Power when Goku used it in the Buu arc.

Considering Super Saiyan Blue came completely out of nowhere, I don't think they need a particularly good reason to introduce a new peak, they can just do it and people will either attempt to justify it on their behalf or they won't.

I think Super would continue even if the FT arc flopped because it's the merchandise sells that keeps the show going, but again your right the ratings and success even help it out more so. BUT if you have noticed, there is a new form every arc. Saiyan (Kaioken) Freeza saga (Super Saiyan), Cell Saga (SSJ2), Boo Saga (SSJ3), BoG (SSG), RoF (SSJB), Champa saga (SSJB Kaioken), FT saga (Super Trunks, SSJ Rose). Next arc it'll probably be Goku so I'm banking on it being a recolored SSJ2.

Gohan going super saiyan is redundant in his ultimate state. So if he were to get God ki, it would have to go super saiyan God (the super saiyan that isn't super saiyan) but they gave that to goku, made retaining it a miracle and made the possibility of vegeta having it before SSB ambiguous

SS3 literally came out of nowhere in the Buu arc though even more so than SSGSS (which still makes more sense than SS3 anyway), so I don't see your point.

Still I for one think it was no coincidence that the next villain we ended up did in fact end up with white Super Saiyan hair just as many of us assumed.
I think Toriyama was hinting at things to come without completely spilling the beans and so talked some bullshit about how white would color clash with the next villain, which it really would not if he really meant Freeza.

Trunks' new form. I call it ssjssjgod. Basically super saiyan+power of rage+balance from the god ki without reducing speed=ssjssjgod
