Even though some things like SSJ God may seem a little contrived, it didn't seem too forced. I just think that the earthlings have been out of commission a little too long for it not to be jarring to get a super power boost. I tolerate Goku, but I don't hate him. I find his naivety, immaturity, selfishness (he's not the greatest family man by any means), forgetfulness, and absent-mindedness quite annoying at times, as they do overshadow his good attributes. She filled in for Laura Bailey with Gotenks in Xenoverse 1 and 2 so I could see it coming. I guess this means Laura Bailey won't work on Dragon Ball anymore despite other LA actors like Sean and Kyle returning. Maybe they're fast tracking production on it and she can't squeeze it into her schedule but then again, Trunks was the only thing she was doing for FUNi so now that she's not in Super I guess she's no longer reprising her role as him.
