"Dragon Ball Super" Series Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I was pleased to see that Yamchas fast balls were working, but that "but " worries me.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

An episode of Kuririn acting like one of those detectives in old films would be amazing.kinisking wrote:I'm not a huge fan of one-off slice of life episodes. Especially if they focus on the human characters like Krillin, Gohan's family life, Yamcha, etc.

But?! But what? Yamcha, don't fail me now! We need you to win this!
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Yeah, that's something along the lines of what I was thinking. Could be really great. Could even have Gohan as great saiyaman help him out. Would be hilarious if Goku was unknowingly the criminal the entire timeDoctor. wrote:An episode of Kuririn acting like one of those detectives in old films would be amazing.kinisking wrote:I'm not a huge fan of one-off slice of life episodes. Yamcha>Gohan confirmed. He can throw something at a speed people way stronger and faster apparently can't hitAnime Kitten wrote:Jump preview for Episode 70:

I wonder why Champa isn't eating his Earth's food. Also, I hope the explanation of how to play (presumably by Yamcha) doesn't take too much of the episode.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Yeah, it doesn't make much sense but i'll suspend my disbelief just because I want to see Yamcha do something useful!dbzfan7 wrote:Yamcha>Gohan confirmed. He can throw something at a speed people way stronger and faster apparently can't hitAnime Kitten wrote:Jump preview for Episode 70:

Maybe Universe 6's Earth's food isn't as good as Universe 7's, or maybe they just don't have Cup Ramen.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
Oh, yeah. This is another thing that I wanted to bring up. Didn't Beerus wish that earth to be as culturally advanced as the one we have? Shouldn't the food be the same in that case?ArchedThunder wrote:Maybe Universe 6's Earth's food isn't as good as Universe 7's, or maybe they just don't have Cup Ramen.

Yamcha hasn't appeared in like 25+ episodes. Wasn't the last ep he was in when Beerus wore the Monaka outfit to fight Goku?

A Yamcha-centric episode with commentary. I'm glad they threw all 10 of us Yamcha fans a bone.
It is not as though people physically stronger or faster than actual baseball players are somehow inherently good at baseball.kinisking wrote:Yeah, it doesn't make much sense but i'll suspend my disbelief just because I want to see Yamcha do something useful!dbzfan7 wrote: Yamcha>Gohan confirmed. Not quite the same when your reaction speed is going to be at points you can make other people be motionless in your view. Like Yamcha compared to U6.Makaioshin wrote:A Yamcha-centric episode with commentary. Anyone else hoping the U6 guys will stick around after this episode for the next arc? They could use more development, plus we could get to see more of them in action.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I sure am! In fact, I think that the U6 characters including Champa and even Frost probably will stick around for this arc.Makai wrote:Anyone else hoping the U6 guys will stick around after this episode for the next arc? Trunks is gone, so the only God Tier important characters left are Goku, Vegeta, Whis and Beerus. Goku might die, so we're gonna need a bigger cast than just Vegeta and Beerus.

I hope Goku keeps his part-time as security guard for some time and we see him dealing with troublemakers.
Much more interesting than just farming and that hairstyle is just too fabulous to only last less than 2 minutes.
I'm curious to know if Toriyama was the one who came up with it. Even though he may not watch Super religiously every week, he should have been warned that would be a crossover between his two iconic works.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

Even though I find the baseball episode to be something interesting, what I'm curious is how Hit deeds afterwards will lead to the next Toriyama arc

New ending song starting in January makes me think that's when the new arc will start too.
Newtype's cover's been released, so it's only a matter of days before episode titles (and maybe summaries?) pop up. I'm really anxious to see if we'll actually get summaries or not this time.
