I actually prefer mine without the background. I like that it doesn't look like a square.

I made a bet with Alee9977 that Vegeta won't be beaten quickly by an opponent. If I lose, I switch my avatar to Vegeta getting beat by hit. If I win, he switches it to Vegeta holding Black by his hair. This will last a month.

I knew a lot of people would be using that picture of Goku as their avatar so I decided to make sure I stood out.

Gold>White
It's to pixel-ely.

Yeah but it looks to crunched.
I'm not really seeing how his is too pixely. Maybe it's because I'm on my phone? Even if it was though, his hat makes up for it

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

There is. It's just not very widespread.
Probably Kanzenshuu's biggest Bulla fangirl. Current avatar: DBU Bulla as Sailor Princess Sadala, based on Sailor Moon: Cosmic Dance
Dragon Ball Ultimate - 78 out of 150 chapters complete JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Action Blue - link Sailor Moon: Mindful of Love - link | Sailor Moon: Cosmic Dance - link
I was just thinking about time travel again, cause I'm a total masochist, but I came to a weird conclusion; Zamasu isn't dead yet. Not only is he still alive, but he's alive in the present, and possibly Trunks' new Future. Remember Planet Barbari? When Gowasu took Zamasu on that field trip, it was a thousand years in the future, if I remember correctly. We know for certain that Zamasu will be their in 1000 years from the present, but if we assume that Future Gowasu also brought Future Zamasu to Future Barbari, and Future Beerus killed Future Zamasu after that happened, that means that Zamasu also exists about 984 years later in Trunks' new timeline. Also, there are probably 3 other Zamasu's in the timelines that were never shown to us.
I'm aware that all of this means nothing, and that nothing will ever come of there being 1 to 5 Zamasu's left scattered throughout the rest of the timelines, I just thought it was interesting. Who knows? Maybe the video games will visit the concept one day.

This is why I hate time travel. What a complete mess.
Not really thread unworthy, but I would find interesting to see a thread pointing the similarities of Goku vs. Vegeta rivalry and Messi vs. Ronaldo rivalry
As a great football fan I would love to read the comparisons

I don't think there's too many similarities. I think its fair to compare Messi to Goku and Ronaldo to Vegeta, but Ronaldo doesn't really hate Messi and his goal isn't to be better than him. Just my two cents though, I'm not the biggest La Liga follower so maybe there's more to it than what I know.

Exactly what I meant, mate. Vegeta (current) doesn't hate Goku either and even though he see him as a rival, don't want just to be better than him, but the best of all time, just like Ronaldo, who share similiar motivations, and he said back in 2014 that he wants to beat Messi current Ballon d'Or record (indicating that he sees him a rival too).

I suppose. After giving it some thought, they both really have traits of Goku and Vegeta. For example, Ronaldo is kinda like Goku in that he was born in the middle of nowhere (a tiny Portuguese island in the Atlantic to be precise) whereas Messi comes from a city rich in footballing history. And of course, while they were both stars at a young age, Messi was the ultimate prodigy, which is obviously much more of a Vegeta thing.
Messi's recent behavior is also very un-Goku if you ask me, quitting the national team after another failed campaign.
If you ask me, Pele is the Goku of futbol. Never saw him play myself, but they have similar backstories and both were obviously very good at what they did.

Out of curiosity, is English your second language? You seem to know it well, but I've noticed that you often don't pick up on jokes and sarcasm. Also, he was definitely joking.

English is my first language, but when you see shit like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XQkYBbM9YyM and how serious some people take the internet, it's kinda hard to distinguish, a playful joke or someone getting pissed off about something dumb.
