kinisking has stated that Piccolo is his least favourite Z fighter so I think he is talking about character.

I dont know really how you can like Hit as a character and not Piccolo when their personalities are very similar.

That scene alone is better than episodes 66 and 67 combined of Super.

You're exaggerating, nothing in that scene comes close to the whole Black arc let alone 66 where Vegito came in and 67 where Zeno destroyed the whole multiverse.

The video was nothing special, its just your typical giving a huge powerboost to someone that can no longer be in the same league with Gods like how they treated Future Trunks.

Before anything else, I'll mention that a fan work doesn't belong in the Official Announcement Thread for Super. But while we are on that topic, I'll comment that the tracing looks rather poor. I would understand if the idea was to give it its own distinct style, but if it's intended to reflect the artstyle of Dragon Ball, then it does quite an underwhelming job. Far, far worse than even the first half of Super #67, in my opinion, of course.

But if you appreciate it, then that's all right too. That's how I personally see the quality, though.

Even if the animation itself was good, the scene itself is empty. Think of most power up scenes in Dragonball, when they were important ones they were thematic. We got to see the effects on the people around the character and the landscape. Even in Super where some of the power up and transformation scenes have been a bit underwhelming, they still had a punch (Aside from Blue, really). You'd have reaction shots with a mix of terror, surprise and excitement. You'd have the villain gasping a word or two in shock, or grinning in glee. Even when Super screwed up those scenes, there was still something there. Here, there is nothing; it feels empty. Maybe it's like how in Super, the punches feel underwhelming to a lot of people.

I was speaking out of emotion, of course I was exaggerating my friend.

But when you mention Zeno blowing up multiverses as a scene being worthwhile I must disagree. I consider him a gag character at this point, his design is so Toriyama and that scene was something many in the community feared would happen; resorting to Gods to handle your problems.

In what area? Because it sure as hell ain't in the animation or art department. Getting a power is one thing, but what mileage the character gets out of it is another. The last power up Piccolo got did nothing for him other than fight evenly with 17 before nearly getting by Cell with one punch and a ki blast.

By the way, I'm really looking forward to Hit trying to assassinate Goku greatly. The leaked images looks quite promising, for how ominous it looks.

Yeah, no kidding. Sean Schemmel usually manages to do it with Goku, though, so perhaps Zamasu's English actor will pull through. Speaking of Mr. Schemmel, I'm anxious to hear his (hopefully) altered Goku Black voice.
