I know how hard the original creators worked.. and it's sad someone getting praise by tracing their work..

If they don't claim something like that, then it's not functionally different from a fan-parody like DBZ abridged which uses a lot of the original artwork, or even youtubers doing "let's plays".

DBZ Abridged doesn't profit directly from the footage itself. This does.

Teamfourstar could have chosen to do DBZ abridged entirely with original artwork, but they chose to use the footage from the anime instead. This guy could also have chosen to use entirely original artwork, but he chose to use existing artwork and edit it.

As far as I know, both take the existing footage/artwork and use it to create their stuff and both take donations. Teamfourstar being much better at it, putting much more work on it and having much more talent doesn't really change that fact. The only relevant, real difference is that one is a parody and the other is not. In terms of how much they benefit from it, almost surely Teamfourstar benefits much more than this guy.

So, yeah, to me, the only real problem is if he claims a lie to be true, aka if he claims that it's all original artwork. Other than that, functionally, it's still using the original footage to create something in both cases.

I'm sorry, but this is as edgy as you can get (for the lack of a better word.) This is Dragon Ball AF-level stuff.

The tracing is a problem, as always when it comes to MaSTAR Media, seriously, half of those shots are traced from the Broly movie. The effects are waayyy too flashy, and Piccolo's transformation just... ugh.

His voice goes so deep you could literally go to China and just sounds lifeless, not badass. The design is something not even Heroes would dare to make, it really should tone down the effects.

Just when I thought Goku vs Saitama was the bottom of the barrel...

You see, I kind of hate the word cringey, but that is basically the only word I can think of to describe this. Watching piccolo turn blue and orange with the camera shaking at nauseum and SSJB Gohan, a zebra looking motherfucker and Goku in the background was terrible. Literally half of the video was 3 frames of Piccolo screaming with camera shake and a weird edgy Janemba thing looking at him. Not to mention the "anime wars" logo, which seemed to be this guy's way of getting even more fanbases to watch. I wouldn't even care about these videos that much, but the fact that he's taken credit for other's work numerous times and tries to act like an animation aficionado annoys me to no end.

Its kind of an ugly looking form to be honest. As awesome as it would be for Piccolo to be able to keep up with our main characters again, I don't think a transformation is the way to go. Especially not this weird looking monster thing. I haven't seen a lot of this guys stuff do to him being kind of sketchy. But I've seen a few shots here and there and he really seems to value the Body/Face tattoos in his "original" forms.
