To my knowledge, the cast has only been announced for the first arc (Battle of Gods). The only other voices we know, thanks to Xenoverse 2, are Future Trunks and Goku Black, which are obvious, and presumably Hit, in the event that he isn't replaced for any reason.

Nah, his best part was definitely the one when he told Trunks "So where will you ask for help next? the past? the future? and thus you continue to rebel against the justice of the Gods." that part sent chills, especially on how he said it.

They haven't even revealed casting for the Freeza arc yet so whatever you read was pure BS.

I agree. The voice acting this arc was tremendously good. As a huge fan of the dub, I honestly don't think Goku Black or Zamasu will be voiced half as well.

Even thought I'm in the team for Piccolo as other characters to be relevant in the series again, this piece of animation is very bland, I would love Piccolo to get a new form, but that was ugly, the same I can say about that "Black Janemba" what awful re-design.


On topic: Are we getting an episode in December 25?

Yes, there is an episode on December 25th, but not on January 1st. So only a one week break.

On the topic of Zamasu's voice, Shinichirou Miki was so amazing it'll be hard to top, but who might be a good voice for him? Admittedly I'm not that into English dub actors, but I thought J. Michael Tatum might be a good choice. I've liked several of the roles he's done (a couple that come to mind: Kyouya from Ouran, and Okabe from Steins;gate), and think he sounds like a good fit. He's got a nice mellow sound for the calm side of Zamasu, and I checked his list of roles to see if he's done any crazy stuff and noticed that he played Tsukiyama from Tokyo Ghoul (never watched that in English, but the role is definitely over-the-top). But again, there could be other actors I don't know about who might be better...

That scene alone is better than episodes 66 and 67 combined of Super.

I can't believe that you guys think this is any good. I recognize a ton of those shots being straight up ripped from DBZ (just with color edits). I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of it is ripped off. In fact, the entire thing is so fucking uninspired. The dialogue isn't interesting at all. So many "omg that's piccolo????". I actually laughed at the "to defeat a monster, I had to become one". Generic as fuck. Literally nothing about that is new or interesting. 66 and 67 had tons of great moments, some dialogue that was actually relevant to characterization instead of being generic as all hell, and emotional moments.

Also I was serious about Hit being a better character than Piccolo imo. I love assassins, he has a much better design, he's more menacing, the way he carries himself is cooler, and his time skip is interesting.

There's no ambiguity about it, it's ALL ripped off (They threw paint on Piccolo though!). The power up is from Piccolo VS 17, the background is simply the wasteland, the reaction shots (Aside from Gohan's) are from when Gohan goes SS2 and Gohan's shot is him facing off against Buu. The enemy is Janemba's less spoken of black cousin, who smoked one too many marbrawl cigarettes. I don't even think it's traced, it's ripped right from the scenes (In the way that guy who makes what if battles in DBZ does it)and thrown in with little care or thought.

I already said I wasn't serious when I said that this was better than episodes 66 & 67. And you guys are pointing out the obvious. Tell me something I don't know. Of course the animation, design, dialogues, etc isn't good at all. It's FANMADE, they don't have the budget nor the experts to get it right that the real stuff does. At least it surpasses the infamous episode 5 of Dragonball Super.

But I give them credit for trying.

Yeah definitely not something to write home about with all the tracing and reused scenes. But Piccolo is much better of a character than Hit. Hit is only somewhat above Janemba as a character, and that is not saying much. He makes a wicked teammate in Dragon Ball Fusions though.

I was more trying to understand the other people who were saying this proves that fans can make stuff JUST as good as the official product. There's probably proof somewhere (I've seen some really good un-offical animation that I'd swear was official, though not DBZ related ones), but this is not proof.

He voices Mira in the Xenoverse games as well. I was hoping he would voice Hit because of that, but it seems it wasn't meant to be. Hopefully someone with a calm, perhaps young sounding voice for Zamasu.

I know this is a random topic to bring up, but you really have to give credit to Shin-ichiro Miki for his Zamasu performance. Especially his screams in #59 and #67. Those were chill-inducing.

I honestly think Zamasu's "SON GOKUUUUUEAAHH" is just as epic as "KURIRIN NO KOTO KAAAAA!" (my sig). I already loved Miki Shinichirou for voicing VF Akira and SRW Ryusei, but his Zamasu's performance is really something else.

Yeah that scream was amazing. Easily one of my favorite moments of the whole arc and Super in general.

Tatum voices Eneru in One Piece, so I would find it both ironic and fitting that he would voice another character with a god complex.
