Is Toriyama actually listening to the fans.

All these characters need to do stuff and maybe some Power ups as well.

Are they really keeping up with Roshi? Why? Didn't he retired for good? I would appreciate more if was Yamcha instead and WTF with that Gohan hair? Glad that he might have a major role this time, but this hair is so GT-ish ugly!

In the opening, he gets his buu hair back when he goes mystic..
My guess is that it's done to differentiate him from his mystic self

The way Piccolo's arm is portraited, looks like the picture will be a Piccolo in a "prepared for battle" pose. Could be a hint for a power up.

This is a good day. This is what I wanted to see from Super for a while now... Really excited about the cast lineup here.

The hype is too strong for us Gohan fans.

Not just Gohan fans but fans of every character basically.

This does not seem like a tournament but a war arc.
Something that nearly every fan wants.

Just think of the number of different and varied fights we are going to get. This arc will surely be very long as well.

It's official, the next DBS arc will begin the 5th of February in Japan !
It's been released in a double page spread, the next DBS arc -to be announced during Jump Festa 2017 and in the next V-Jump- will officially air starting Sunday the 5th of February 2017 on Fuji TV, in Japan. It will be called "Survivors of the Universe", and it's probable this teases into the multiverse tournament planned by the Omni-King! for this occasion, the selected team seems to be way more complete than during the U6 VS U7 tournament, which may hint for a very long arc...if this is the multiverse tournament indeed, which nothing right now can confirm beside the title.

Gohan and C17 return?
You're not dreaming, it's not Yamcha but Gohan ! Casting does include the regular team, including Gohan and, more surprisingly, C17! It's an occasion to show the birdie to the ones who didn't believe Gohan would make a comeback, for multiple reasons. Stay tuned for more, coming very soon!

Resurrection f should have been just that, I just hope they don't rush this arc, take your time and give every character memorable fights..
As for your previous post, Piccolo might be out of the picture either because his appearance has changed ( power up ?) or maybe the photographer assumed an arm is enough to confirm he is there

It really is. Instead of calling it the universal survival arc it should be called the universally loved arc. I absolutely can't wait for tien, krillin,17,18 vegeta, and Gohan fighting.

Imagine this being the last arc but lasting up to 50+ eps due to the large cast and unimaginable match ups we can get, like someone said, the possibilities are infinite if this does turn out to be the multiversal tournament that later becomes a war arc.

I've said this long before any of this and I'll say it again: This War Arc or Survival Arc could be a tournament in a way as well. Imagine ten fighters from each Universe in this large planet, and everybody is spread out. It would be a fight to the death against anyone who isn't from your team or universe. Kind of like Hunger Games but you're on a team.

The opportunities to make this arc incredible is virtually limitless.

They could also do it where you have to ration your team by saying that throughout the tournament each fighter can only fight a maximum of 3 fights.

He was mentioned once before ( Champa arc? )
He won't be mentioned if he wouldn't be shown,that gives hope at least they would go to eoz after the universe survival arc, so it's not the end right there..

I like 17's new look, and enjoy the prospect of him at least making a cameo. Though let's be real, the chances of all these fighters dong anythingmajor in this new arc is rather small. There's hype, then there's staring at the wall behind the screen.

I'm keeping my expectations low at this point. I've been tricked before with the Champa Arc, not falling for that again.
