Certainly. While I'm sure Piccolo will shine because of his pathetic "role" in the Gods Tournament, Gohan will be the one fulfilling Piccolo's pathetic role of the said saga, as we all know that someone needs to go before even getting a chance to fight. Gohan is perfect for this.

Lol Gohan fans would riot. They would be writing essays in Caps Lock displaying their frustration everywhere. Would be priceless, but would also be cruel.

TBH I have yet to see a Gohan fan do that type of shiz, then again I havent been into this forum for that long so who knows, but mostly the only ones that are like that are some of the Vegeta fans and a lot of Piccolo fans especially on what happened to him in the U6 arc when fake titles came out claiming that Piccolo won his fight against Frost then later turned out to be fake, the reactions Piccolo fans had back then was priceless so I guess props to whoever released those fake titles
Anyways from how I saw it Gohan fans has a habit of not hoping to much for the character and make jokes of him and thats it.

But what happened to Toyotaro saying he'd pull ahead of the anime???

I don't even know what's happening anymore, like seeing Android 8 was crazy enough but now we got 17 coming out of retirement and it looks like Gohan - MFing GOHAN has been TRAINING? Look at dem muscles!
Like is the GT-prequel? GT alternate universe?

Someone tell me what is happening right now because it seems like someone in production is cruising this forum and just checking off fan requests. Not complaining but I mean this is nuts.


Also seeing this is the lead-in to the 12 universe tournament arc. Any validity to that? Also any chance Future Trunks joins them for this arc too? It's not like he really has anything better to do.

Then I was watching Dragonball Youtubers talking about it, even the credible ones. With a big grin on my face I went back here, only to find out it was fake all along. My followers were pissed at me thinking I was trolling them. I was livid. Then I saw the episode where Frost poisoned him.

Me and Namekiansaiyan fused and were filling this website with Caps Lock comments. I even took a break from Super after that episode for a month.

Then I see this and I'm NOT falling for it again.

Pulling ahead for a few weeks doesn't seem like it's worth mentioning like he did. Maybe this arc isn't going to be in the manga.

But at the end of the day we are mere simple humans (which is why Zamasu hates us ningens), we see our favorite characters in the poster for the upcoming arc, we get bait, we get hype, we get crazy, who knows they may do something actually worth the hype and more

The only thing provided is a scan from unknown sources and a date. Information beyond that is speculation. Unfortunately, it's already starting to become "common knowledge".

Too soon for the Omniversal tournament. I hope that this arc is gonna be new, fresh and exciting like the "Future" Trunks one.

Guys don't get too hyped. Remember Majin Buu was on the Universe 6 tournament posters and we all expected him to fight and he did nothing.

Indeed it's best for a person to set his expectations as low as possible.

Another random opinion: Goku and Vegeta wearing their same outfits from the last arc is kind of annoying me.

Why can't Vegeta wear his attire from the Buu arc or at least ROF? Same with Goku really.

His Buu arc outfit was only because they weren't allowed to wear armor at the tournament.

It's still so odd how they're choosing not to use the Whis Gi outfits. It feels like kind of a waste to not be wearing them.

I have low expectations because I'm not that hyped about what little is here to begin with.

Man, they're never gonna visit Planet Salad, are they? And those cool F outfits of Gokû's and Vegeta's are never coming back because nostalgia goggles, huh?

Only good things are we get to see 18 do plot stuff (and bonus, with a new outfit. Why can't everyone get a new outfit for this arc?), and the Hit arc turning out to be only two episodes long.

I have no interest in 17. Or Gohan.

I'll give it time for the actual plot of the arc to be revealed (because survival could mean a bunch of different things) but for now I'm lukewarm.

Missed opportunity with the Whis Gi. If this IS the "Multiverse Tournament" or something like that, it doesn't make sense why they wouldn't wear them.

Hopefully we do see them and this is just a sneak peek.
