I...I'm lost for words from what I've seen and read. A multiverse tournament? Android 17 returning? All of the cast potentially getting in on the action? Take my motherfucking money now. This arc already has the makings of something truly phenomenal. I will not forgive Toei or Toriyama if they bait-and-switch us with certain cast members getting involved in a tournament like they did in the Champa arc.

EDIT: "Universe Survival Arc" is the greatest name for an arc I've ever heard.

It is almost certainly a war like arc.

Seriously why is everyone on Youtube and everywhere hyping Gohan but not the other characters shown. This scan has many characters in it who look like they are about to get into a serious fight in this arc.

We need that information that is going to released this coming weekend.

Simple, because Gohan has the most fanbase among the other characters shown ofc besides Goku and Vegeta.

But this scan has the same meaning for all characters as they are all ready to fight. How can you only be excited for Gohan and not the other as well.

The Gohan thing even happens when he makes a 1 second appearence in an episode though.

Nah Goku and Vegeta aren't the J.O.B. squad. You're not a jobber just cause you lose. Goku and Vegeta constantly have momentum built up for them even with a spotty record. Not to mention how they are sold to us as the audience. The others are not even close to as highly regarded. They only beat bigger losers than them, or are poor enhancement talent as they aren't strong enough to even work as good ways of making the bad guys look tough. So they even fail at that.

Ah she saved them...for them to save her in return and everyone else......thus is the status quo. For Trunks you see, was a time anomaly. Zeno bae chan knew this, and obliterated his universe. They then disposed of him to another universe to reset the status quo, thus saving the multi-verse before it exploded from a paradox.

I LOVE that there are 10 Z-Warriors involved, I didn't expect this at all. However I just can't get hyped when Yamcha is getting replaced by Muten Roshi for the second time. I respect Muten Roshi, he's a great master and character.. but he retired back in Piccolo Jr saga. His three students are all much stronger than him. Yamcha might be the weakest Z-Warrior but he's still the 3rd strongest Earthling behind Tien and Krillin. Toriyama fucked me up real good in RoF, now it's even worse because there are 10 characters involved and Muten Roshi is replacing him again.

Of course I'll shut my mouth if Yamcha is indeed in that image, but for now I'm pretty disappointed.

Roshi being there also doesn't make sense since he's so much less powerful than everyone else. Roshi beating Freeza's soldiers is believeable because most of them probably were incredibly weak, but for something like this?

Maybe Yamcha's voice actor is busy elsewhere or not that interested in DB anymore, and that's the reason he only appears on stand alone episodes. It's odd that he get sidelined like that. Sure, he's weak, but so is most of the cast right now (compared with THE TWO). For a series guided by fan service seems like a weird decision to ignore a well-liked character.
