Vados was the one that asked Hit to kill Goku but she was asked to do it by someone else.

Goku was dying from the invisible shockwave that Hit shoot directly to his heart but he managed to survive by being hit by a ki blast. Probably Piccolo-style?

This was revealed in a scan on twitter.

The fight was creative, but the concept was the poor Piccolo was doomed since the start. Hopefully this trend it's over. Future Trunks with his magical boost teach fans that miracles could happen again.

TBH I always thought Goku told Piccolo has no chance because of Frost poison ability, that was still a mystery back then.

So now that we've seen the full promo I guess Yamcha and Goten and Trunks really aren't there. I suppose Trunks/Goten can sneak in possibly.

How could they not have Goten and Trunks after the development kid Trunks got? I need more context on what the story is about, but if this is life or death I call bullshit. Especially when Roshi is included.

I really like Goku's, Vegeta's, 17's, 18's, Tien's, and Roshi's poses in this though. Really badass besides for 18's which I find charming. Piccolo's is a little too flamboyant to be interesting to me and Gohan's is pretty generic.

Piccolo healing Goku makes sense, he already healed Gohan back in FnF(His heart stopped beating and He had no pulse as well iirc).

I wonder who was the one that asked Vados, another Hakaishin? Maybe we might get a Makaioshin?

It's too dangerous for Goten and Trunks to enter. Their mothers don't want their super powerful Super Saiyan sons to fight, so they went with Roshi and Tien.

Remember how Gohan got when he was a SSJ2? Maybe it's similar here, Gohan holding back the urge to beat someone's face in. Like when he transformed for Kibito.

I find it baffling they're going with the same lineup as Return to F, just with 18/17 and Buu participating.

No Trunks/Goten or Yamcha, and Roshi and Tenshihan are there.

Even if Toriyama doesn't have them in this draft/scrpit, Toei could take a few liberties. Unless some peoples suspicions are correct and that's what they're doing with Gohan.

I dislike how they're treated as little kids. Gohan was much younger and everyone besides for Chi Chi was okay with him fighting.

They might have requested Gohan to be in the script, but I doubt they would go ahead and add him in regardless of the script. Besides, Roshi is in there and people are suspicious of Gohan? lol.

What I know to expect : Goten and Trunks couldn't come because they would miss too much school.

Odd that 18 and Krillin would both travel to wherever this next arc is taking place and leave an extremely young Marron alone though.

With the mention of a team, this might be the tournament after all, so they couldn't really increase contestants like that.
