I would have took Buu and Roshi out and Put Yamcha and Gotenks.

I realy hate Buu now though he was fine in Gt but I hate his Super portrayal.

It is baffling in the openings/endings they continually include Yamcha with all the other fighters, but then when we get arcs he's not part of them. Why?

And he's not the only one. There's also Chiaotzu to account for,who seems to have it just as bad, if not WORSE than Yamcha. And don't even get me started on the treatment of Goten (and to a much lesser extent, Trunks) recently...

as much as this poster got me hyped as fuck toei tends to play around with fans expectations so people needs to settle down before getting their hopes up.

No, it's not "Toei". Every promotional material for the U6 arc made it seem like Buu would have a role, anime or manga.
Heck, even recently, the cover for the vol. 2 of the manga has Buu right there with the others throwing a punch towards Botamo.

And people are overreacting to that just because of Buu. The anime promo art for the Future Trunks arc, with Trunks, Mai and Black, ended up pretty accurate.

Yes. It also helps distinguish his base form from his Ultimate state (when his hair is done correctly, that is). I don't know why they keep removing his bang, it's utterly unnecessary.

No, it's not "Toei". Every promotional material for the U6 arc made it seem like Buu would have a role, anime or manga.

But the manga has next to no promotion. The promotional material was almost exclusively for the anime, so yeah, it probably was Toei.

I think Super is stretching out these filler episodes to make sure the "Universal Survival" arc would be epic. My expectations are low, and will stay that way.

Because even though I consider Champa to be a spoiled, overweight, naive character, I don't think he would stoop that low. I mean anyone who takes out the main competition before a tournament is the definition of a sore loser. That's a new low that I don't think Champa would reach, which is why I'm not even considering that.

I don't get why Toriyama suddenly has so much interest in Roshi when during DBZ he didn't have him do anything. For example he could have had Roshi tag along to Namek with Bulma in the ship but he stayed behind on Earth. Roshi stopped being relevant after the Saiyans if we're pushing it.

The hit arc seems like a disappointment going by the summaries..
Angles don't do bidding for anyone but their masters, it's obvious champa ordered hit to kill Goku..

Saiyaman movie happening, I am all for Gohan getting screen time but it would be better to use this time for development of characters fighting in survival arc..
Show them training or something..

Goten and trunks are out of the picture because it's too dangerous for super fucking Saiyans to fight according to their moms, shame on you bulma..

Muten roshi is nothing short of awesome, Team of all Saiyans would become so damn boring,it's great roshi is back, Along with other non Saiyans..
Roshi seems so much better than anyone at fighting that if I didn't know better I would say he will give freeza a good fight, that's how awesome he looks..

I think there is a reason they are out
Universe 6 has 5 members, going by our team size, it requires 10, we already had the team shuffle for baseball battle,
Universe 6 team will have

• Frost
• Magetta
• Goten
• Trunks
• Yamcha
• Monaka ( berrus plays champa )
• Chiaotzu
• Hit
• Botamo
• Cabba

This would be much better than designing unnecessary new characters for universe 6 when a big number of characters are already needed to be designed for other teams..

I always assumed the reason Yamcha got long hair again in his new design is to distinguish him from Gohan more.

Eh, it still looks off, Yamamuro kinda fucked up on his face. The animators will probably draw it better.

I am getting Hell/super 17 and RoF arc vibes from the poster they're both fan service war arcs that brought back fan favorite characters... Something tells me that this is another Toei suggested arc.

I wonder why they are avoiding Goten and Trunks so much. Wouldn't they want to use the Kid characters to appeal to the kids?

We have 3 Saiyans in Goku, Vegeta & Gohan so maybe they don't want too many in order to give others like Buu a chance.

GUys, I don't understand why you keep saying that if this is the multiverse tournament this will be the final arc.
If this is the 12 universe tournament, we are going to have more possibilities than before, why you keep telling that this could be the last arc?

If this isn't announced as his last arc then it won't be.

Personally I would've had it be the last arc (not now but the concept itself) but I trust Toriyama so I'm looking forward to seeing what we get after this if it's the big torunament.

That is the exact reason why there woud be no Trunks and Goten

We then have 3 Saiyans, 3 Earthlings, 1 Namekian, 2 Androids and a Majin Buu. Variety for once.

I actually cant wait for some kind of 'recruiting' episode to see gets recruited first for this thing.
