Vados was the one that asked Hit to kill Goku but she was asked to do it by someone else.

Goku was dying from the invisible shockwave that Hit shoot directly to his heart but he managed to survive by being hit by a ki blast. Probably Piccolo-style?

Wow this sucks..., Yamcha gets left out again, and they bring Roshi? Well, looks there's no hope to see Yamcha fight again. Do they even consider him a Z-Fighter anymore? I mean the dude is flying with other Z-fighters at the end of the intro and is standing with them in ending 3, both of which Roshi doesn't do. This is total bullshit, honestly.

I don't know if Frost is going to return or not to be honest, in this tournament the rules may be the same as the U6 vs U7 tournament.

If he does return he'll probably have Golden Form or something.

For new characters I think we should see a Namekian (I can assume they're evil in this universe) and another Saiyan, and 3 random species characters

10 vs 10 team battle but without rules i think

If that happened it would be the best dragon ball thing ever. If it is a battle royale it would be so crazy and it would be like Fairy tail's Grand magic games but 4 times the amount of people. The fighting combinations between characters would be great along with the general interactions.

If it's anything like the GMG arc from Fairy Tail that would be great, there was more to that actual tournament that just fighing rounds and then they had villainous stuff in background too. Toyo's comments about in typical Toriyama fashion it doesn't happen as we expect so I am a little less worried but the U6 arc was really just ehh don't want a repeat.

don't you mean for teens? Goten and Trunks are 13 and 14 and if theres a timeskip they will be even older, Gohan had already killed Cell and turned ssj2 at that age

Goten never really was a main guy. He's like a mini Goku, and he doesn't really even have a clear cut personality.

Kid Trunks on the other hand got some development last Arc, but at the end of the day if its a fight to the death which the name of this new arc implies, then obviously their mothers wouldn't let them participate. No sane mom alive would let her 13 year old son participate in a tournament where killing is allowed.

There are things that Roshi can offer that Goten and Trunks cant, its wisdom, despite being the old perverted geezer that he is, Roshi's still pretty wise.

Which makes me think that the reason why he's there is for drama, probably someone killing Roshi infront of Goku hence triggers a new form or something, I can just feel it for some reason (and theres Krillin too).

I want to talk about the Hit Mini Arc.

I was thinking Goku got a zenkai when he got revived after Hit "killed him", Zenkai started being relevant again during the Trunks Arc, besides Goku is far stronger than his U6 self thanks to Black, who wanted him to be at his peak.
