Beerus said he was traveling to all universes to check if any Time Ring was missing, because Black had one. (It was a lie, he went just to U10 because he wanted to see Zamasu, but Beerus wouldn't say that if other universes didn't have Time Rings)Noah wrote:Where? The original message seemed to imply that the Demon Realm was a separate universe. I was clarifying the Demon Realm and Kaioshin Realm exist in Universe 7. The latter realm requires special conditions to access. The planets of the Kaio all exist in the afterlife. One would assume those planets and the afterlife station exist exclusive to Universe 7, too. It checks out well enough but you wouldn't be able to access them through normal means. Once again, that's what the Demon Realm is described as. Extensive detail of the subject doesn't exist, I'm afraid. I merely cited its location from Universe 7's Earth. I never argued against it being another realm of existence.Ki Breaker wrote:I wanted to know if it existed in the same dimension as that of universe or a different one..
Come to think of it..
Is the check in station located somewhere in the universe or in a different dimension?
Is that eradicated as well when zeno starts a tantrum?
And is the kaioshin realm in a different dimension too because king kai has his own in the check in station dimension..
If kaioshin realm is in a different dimension demon realm should be too.. and dimensions can't really be explained by go in this direction, so opposite to earth dosen't make sense
If you're specifically referring to the world Future Zeno destroyed, then it's probably safe to assume it was completely destroyed.

So it's going to be a tournament? Hmm. Not sure how to feel about this. I mean, I really like tournaments but we had a tournament just two arcs ago, so this seems quite sudden. But in all fairness, it was foreshadowed. I just hope they take their time with exploring the universes because this line, "But it is the beginning of universal destruction.", has me quite worried that they are going to conveniently get rid of all the other universes except the one the main cast are in. God, I hope that is not the case.

I wouldn't mind. They've barely even explored Universe 7 to begin with, it wouldn't be any huge loss.Lord Beerus wrote:So it's going to be a tournament? Hmm. Not sure how to feel about this. I'm guessing an in-universe reason would be Tien being a douchebag again or Yamcha offering to stay behind with Marron so both 18 and Krillin can fight, considering both of them never fight together because one of them needs to stay behind with her.
He devolved into saying only one word. Time to hit the ol' cosmic trail.

That's maybe the reason why they introduce more than 120 characters in this tournament so akira is thinking who cares about universes when i create soJinzoningen MULE wrote:I wouldn't mind. It would be a massive loss, to me. There's so much they can do with the multiverse, but I have a horrible feeling it will be just swept under the rug for the sake of a tournament. I mean, if Super created a tournament just for the sake of conveniently getting rid of all the universes, expect the one the main cast are in, because Toriyama/Toei don't feel it's worth the effort to expand the story with the multiverse concept introduced... that would be fucking horrendous. That would be an unprecedentedly monumental waste of potential lore and future storylines. I wouldn't give a flying fucking shit if the battle in that tournament were the greatest thing since sliced fucking bread. If by the end of the arc, were are left with one universe... the hate will be fucking real. I would legitimately consider quitting watching Super if that were to happen.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:I wouldn't mind. I get sad a little every time I see this comment. Technically what he said was true since they fought in neutral space but man that was incredibly disappointing.Toriyama wrote:I’ve written a strange new story where they finally depart from this universe. It would be lame, but barring more Gods or Saiyans, there's no potential being lost by wiping out every other universe. Not that I think it'll go that far.

I don't think we'll see a bunch of universes get destroyed, or at least not permanently.
The universes outside of 6 and 7 are unique with their own races that could be more powerful than Saiyans.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:It would be lame, but barring more Gods or Saiyans, there's no potential being lost by wiping out every other universe. Not that I think it'll go that far.

Oh believe me, Toriyama will bullshit more Saiyan's into the other universes. You're missing the point, there could easily be the exact same thing in other parts of the Universe. It's easy to forget, since they don't explore it at all, but Universe 7 is HUGE! There could easily be people stronger and more creative than our main cast right here in U7.ArchedThunder wrote:I don't think we'll see a bunch of universes get destroyed, or at least not permanently. The universes outside of 6 and 7 are unique with their own races that could be more powerful than Saiyans.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:It would be lame, but barring more Gods or Saiyans, there's no potential being lost by wiping out every other universe. I feel like the whole thing about universes being destroyed might get fixed with the Super Dragon Balls... whether that could cause something with Zen'o or not is a different story.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
There could, but if they are introduced at this point, people are just gonna get mad because Freeza was supposed to rule over the universe. Maybe. But quite frankly, I don't give a rat's ass about Freeza. It would be a minor ret-con, especially given what we just went through.Doctor. wrote:There could, but if they are introduced at this point, people are just gonna get mad because Freeza was supposed to rule over the universe.Jinzoningen MULE wrote:You're missing the point, there could easily be the exact same thing in other parts of the Universe. Black hates mortal and would never go into a tournament with them. He would go to their planet and kill them, like he's been doing for years. And what makes you think other timelines are invited since time travel is taboo to the point Beerus blew up Bulma's time machine? And do you think Future Zamasu wants one-half of the asshole who ruined his multiverse?Noah wrote:Yes, but we don't know about the timelines that were possibly created by the retreat travels made by Trunks, Goku and Vegeta, there's a possibility of one or two timelines that Black is still alive.HeroR wrote:The only other timeline with Black in it was the Time Ring Beerus created. And since Whis went out of his way to created a timeline where Future Beerus kills Black and take out Future Zamasu, why would they invite him to a tournament? And why would Black want to be in a tournament with a bunch of filthy mortals?
Black has a Saiyan body he would like to test his limits with the strongest of each universe and besides the U10 Hakaishin could keep him in check if he tries something funny.
As for the Gods of Destruction, he would just kill the Kais, yet again.

The reason this seems sudden at least to me is that the last arc had no lasting impact on me..Kanassa wrote:Why is this a big surprise? This is par for the course in Dragonball.Lord Beerus wrote: but we had a tournament just two arcs ago, so this seems quite sudden.
