Does anyone know why Pan doesn't follow the "Go-" naming pattern (Gohan -> Goku -> Gohan/Goten -> Pan)? Or is it just no particular reason?

Which is the most boring, pointless, and worthless fight ever.
Three adjectives I would never use, but this feels like it could be its own thread.

Does anyone else get even a minor craving for taffy whenever they see an image of Buu?

Anybody ever notice that Vegeta's left arm hangs dead at his side a lot? I remember it happening twice during the Buu Arc alone, once when Majin Vegeta blows up Fat Buu, and again during the Kid Buu fight.

It's also the same arm that #18 broke during their fight right after she and #17 awoke. Is it possible that it never healed quite right, and was easily broken thereafter?

Given that he ate a senzu shortly afterwards, my guess is no.

Hmm, good point. Maybe he broke it earlier in life and it never healed right back then. Senzu don't seem to be able to fix older wounds that are technically already healed, i.e. Yamcha's scars.

The Geonosis battle has nothing on the Darth Maul fight. As for storytelling, both sucked, but AOTC had the awful love story. The Obi-Wan, Jango fight was pretty kick ass however.

None of the SW movies are particularly great for me, in fact, I'll say with a total straight face that KOTOR 1 and 2 absolutely annihilate any of the live action stuff in terms of sheer story-telling quality. Never mind a lot of the pre and post Disney EU stuff.

But yeah, Rogue One is the worst movie in the franchise. Even the ones I dislike such as Force Awakens, Attack and New Hope have something that interests me. A character, a plot thread, an action sequence, something that keeps me going. Rogue One is so bad at everything that there's nothing to make you care, the actings shit, the dialogue doesn't even make me laugh from how bad it is, the directings some of the most unremarkable you'll find in a modern blockbuster,....

I shit you not, the only time I gave one one thousandth of a fuck about anything in the movie is Vader's 30 second action sequence at the very, very end of the movie. Rogue One IS the worst SW movie as far as I'm concerned just based on how teeth grindingly boring it is, half an hour in I felt like I had just marathoned a boring version of the extended Rings trilogy.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

She's a combination pun drawing from both her father and mother's names. Gohan is "rice" in Japanese, so Pan gets a grain-related pun drawing on the Spanish word (and Japanese loan word) for "bread." Videl and Mr. Satan both have names drawing from demonology, so "Pan" alludes to this guy as well.

What date was Season 1 of the first Orange Brick released? I plan on celebrating the anniversary by doing a fun project that may or may not come to fruition.

Don't forget the site is there, too!

Here's a relatively minor talking point about the Universal Survival arc: I hope Zeno destroying an universe is cosmically underwhelming for a dark humor angle. For example, he deems Universe "X" unworthy, hops off of his throne, and casually pops the orbs like a bubble from their pillars.

I'd find it pretty funny if Gowasu finds another apprentice, who'll participate in the tournament, and who looks up to the stands seeking Gowasu's approval every time he wins a match, only for Gowasu to smile lightly and think to himself "You will NEVER be Zamasu".

I will be disappointed if Black is not in the U10 team, it would be a frightening surprise for the U7 team! Black killing some folks by cutting them in a half with his scythe would be a nice touch

Why would Black be on the U10 team if Zamasu is dead?

It seems likely to me that they'll have a Babari.
