Well, Iwasaki composed Dragon Soul, so maybe we have an idea of what to expect.
The first opening was pretty much about starting the journey again in my opinion, hopefully this has a more up to date message.
Indeed, i don't dislike Chozetsu, but it has a "let's meet up with our old friends again" vibe that was becoming out of place.

Yeah, even if it was the last arc as some people were afraid, Toei changing an opening is a sign they want to keep the series going for a good while still. Probably another full year.
Ops, DbzLover beat me to it.

Hahaha, my parents will be disappointed with these news, they love Chōzetsu☆Dynamic!
A new opening will definitely be a nice change of pace. Now I'm praying there's at least a small time skip that the new opening could fit to. (Kind of like the Buu Saga.)
DbzLover wrote:This is a guess on my part but getting a new opening like this means that this won't be the last arc as some have suggested, heck this probably means that super will go on for a long time.
It won't be shorter than 150 episodes and even that seems low when you look at how good the franchise is doing.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.

You are right, also the producer says that DBS is entering in its new chapter, not final or anything so we shouldn't worry for that.
Everything is great so far, there is time for preproduction, the animation for these filler episodes is being very conservative and doesn't use a lot of staff, and we are even having a new OP and a little teaser for the next arc. I don't expect a lot for the story but I do for the animation, hope Toei isn't screwing this.
*Squeeeeeee*
SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!!!
Finally!!!
Hope it will be good, and totally better than the current one

These days people start throwing the words "filler" and "silce of life" everytime characters aren't punching each other. No matter if something is moving the plot or there's character exposition.
Imagine if DB started these days. It would go like this:
"hey, what's happening in Dragon Ball today?"
"Goku wants Mutenroshi to train him, so he's bringing him some chicks now."
"oh i see, just slice of life filler then. skippable. "
Are we too old to enjoy new Dragon Ball movies/series?

Guys, I'm going to be straight with you. If you feel the show has gotten 'silly' ... it hasn't. You're just 'too old for this shit'. Seriously, 95% of the people in those boards do not fit the target demographic of the show, so don't expect the show to be 'everything you hoped for'. I'm referring to the people here who expect Super to be rich with dark moments, serious storytelling, meaningful characters etc etc. It won't. It's a show for kids. A show for kids being kids. Everyone in those boards has a manchild in him/her, clamoring to get out, and that's fine. But having unrealistic expectations (such as believing the show grew up alongside you) is naïve at best. Honestly, do you take seriously a story where the supposed God of Destruction halts his urges to blow up stuff in order to eat ice cream sundae? That's the show's silliness at full force, take it for what it is. The show hasn't matured one bit, so don't expect it too. Again, I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I'm saying *that* is DB and always will be.

I'm glad to see that there's a new Opening on the horizon. I was hoping the song would be by Kageyama or JAM Project in full, but I can make do so long as Hikawa turns in good work. I hope the animation and directing are better than what Yamamuro turned in for the first Opening, too.
The other Hakaishins are also Cats like Beerus and Shampa (Atleast for what I could see in that teaser )
Not surprised

Appears mostly manga based. Toyotaro's a busy man.
Looks like the other GoD are cats, unless Beerus is trying some weird new clothes...
When Super apparently shoves Goku down our throats:
Spoiler:
HeroR wrote:The characters in Super can work with Goku and they're treated like equals to him. Goku just being in the room doesn't take away from the character. In Z, the characters were so depended on Goku that they couldn't go an episode without mentioning him in some way even by hoping he will arrived, get better, training to get stronger, our last hope, being like him, ect. Goku was wanked to hell in Z, even when he wasn't in the room and everyone else was secondary to him. In fact, this was a major issue Goku had, which is why he didn't want to do anything in the Buu Saga.

From Toyotarou's manga preview on Jump Festa, we know this:
- Both Zen0ous are a thing.
- Every God of Destruction and Kaioushin will appear.
- Each tem has 10 people.
- Whoever loses, gets his Universe destroyed.
