Looking at those pictures of the God's makes me feel like craps really about to go down and I didn't even feel like that during the last arc with Zamasu.Ki Breaker wrote:Looks like the stage to fight on..Beerus-sama wrote:What is this?

It looked weird to me, maybe there's one for each universe, also what is that sphere above the top like things?

Sleeping until the tournament is over.

The Goku at the beginning isn't exactly great either. I wouldn't be surprised if he just put together these drawings in a rush for the panel.Ki Breaker wrote:That or this shot is just weirdly drawn.. it does look a little rushed art..
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
It'd be cool if they done different stuff on each stage and not just fight but like fastest runner, or long jump, etc... The Sphere makes me think of Goku when he would kamehameha blast and it would circle around Kaio's planet and he'd reflect it.Beerus-sama wrote:Hopefully this is true.Xeztin wrote:Possibly the battle ground for each battle/tournament? i smell a war in this tournament
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
OH GOD! I've been reading random snippets of the next arch but haven't read it in full. Now I can't wait to see what happens!

That shot of Daishinkan really makes me think he's onto something...Xeztin wrote: Grand Priest looks creepy here! (Might interrupt the tourney?)

But we see a panel where it happens.dragonballgeek wrote:Everyone keeps complaining about the destruction of the universes if they lose.
Am I the only one who thinks it'll be revealed as a lie to get everyone to fight seriously..? I mean, death for losing is a serious motivator. And it'd stop guys like Hit from holding back their true strength.
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
I think Hit's episodes will play an important role for the next arc maybe there it will be revealed who wanted him dead
Re: "Dragon Ball Super" Official Announcement & Discussion Thread
That wasn't what I wanted to say, I was referring to the people that thought Future Zen'ou might have returned to his timeline after playing with the current one. Turns out they both have their own thrones.Araki wrote:I thought that was a given? I mean, it's too important of a development and they're even in the poster of the new arc penned by Toriyama.YonedgeHP wrote:He's referring that is not an anime invention.Araki wrote:

I have to say I love Kaioushin's cloak, that must be ceremonial outfits or something.

If he is the king of everything wouldn't it make sense for him to be able to create universes in a blink just like he destroyed them?sangofe wrote:But we see a panel where it happens.dragonballgeek wrote:Everyone keeps complaining about the destruction of the universes if they lose.

Like if he always destroys everything some one needs to create it too..
I believe goku will talk him into creating the universes back after the tournament

"This is my new apprentice, Gesu! He's always asking me why we have to protect galaxies, talking about how much he hates them and how bright they are. He's such an inquisitive fellow! The other day he even snuck up on me with a new shoulder-rubbing device and he's already written down my sleep schedule. Recently he asked how much power it would take to destroy a sun! Can't wait to show him the ropes."Boo Machine wrote:Yeah, everyone but Beerus and Champa are hard to see because of the hoods. Man, I want to see them now. I hope they get to meet with Gowasu again. Real talk, I am enormously excited for this arc. A high-stakes (to Goku's surprise) crazy team tournament could be a lot of fun. And, final arc or not, it does have the potential to be a reasonable conclusion to everything we've gotten over the last four storylines, right down to Goku getting close enough to Zenou to pressure him on his promise of holding a tournament, which is exciting on its own. I always like Dragon Ball in endgame mode.
Hopefully this is as wild and expansive as it promises. Don't do me wrong, Super. You still have all that good will stacked up from the unexpectedly weird Trunks arc ending.

The text that appears with the Great Priest is just describing the tournament (10-man team, Universes destroyed, etc) so I think it's just him telling the Gods how things will unfold. He's just that naturally creepy, like his son and daughter (I'm betting all the other attendants are his children as well
).

I thought that was a given since Future Zen'o nuked his timeline and looks like he's ready to do it again.
