I thought that was a given since Future Zen'o nuked his timeline and looks like he's ready to do it again.

I don't think it was clear whether he only destroyed Universe 7 or everything else. Seems a little over the top, was Zamasu already seeping through to the other Universes?

So will there only be one surviving universe at the end of this tournament, most likely our Universe 7? Sounds really weird to think billions and trillions of lives will be lost in all the other unvierses especially since most of them aren't fighters and just live peaceful lives on planets.

My guess is they'll stop it in some way. I doubt Goku is going to let trillions of lives die.

He was breaking into other timelines given that Beerus and Whis sensed him, and Goku wouldn't have gone back for Zen'o if there was something for him to rule.

The new Naruto anime has been announced and like Super, the original author will be involved with it instead of a manga.

Does anyone think Super's success and popularity lead to this happening to Naruto as well ?

I can't wait to see how it turns out compared to Super and weather or not it'll have the same problems.

Nope. Everybody knew the moment Boruto manga was announced that an animated series is inevitable. The Boruto movie itself was a big hint that this franchise isn't going to end anytime soon.

It makes sense that Shueisha and whoever the production committee members are will never let a successful product which makes them a shit ton of money die. I don't think Super has anything to do with it.

I knew we were always going to get something new but do you think Kishimoto decided to work with the anime's staff instead of doing a full weekly manga because he saw how easy it was for Toriyama ?

Either way I can't wait to see how it turns out and I hope he can keep the same quality that the original had, especially with the characters.

Doesn't Kishimoto have some sort of involvement with the Boruto manga too? I'm not following the manga so I can't say for sure, but I remember reading somewhere that he assists his editor who is the mangaka or something like that.

Anyways, Kishimoto has his own new manga coming up which is not related to Naruto in anyway, so his involvement with both the Boruto manga and anime will be minimal at best I think.

Am I the only one who thinks it'll be revealed as a lie to get everyone to fight seriously..? I mean, death for losing is a serious motivator. And it'd stop guys like Hit from holding back their true strength.

But we see a panel where it happens.

If he is the king of everything wouldn't it make sense for him to be able to create universes in a blink just like he destroyed them?
Like if he always destroys everything some one needs to create it too..

Well, stakes can't be any higher. I mean, I'm sure that the Universes will be restored at the end thanks to Goku and/or the super dragon balls, but they cannot expect the same consideration from the other universes: They must win.

DB rarelly fullfills its potential, but I really hope they don't screw this arc. The idea is full of awesomeness.

This surely should be the best arc in Super and maybe the whole franchise. I definitely feel like they are hyping it a lot and I definitely feel that all characters will play major roles for universe 7 winning the tournament consequently being very memorable for all fans of dragon ball.

I actually think we might see 120 fighters. This might end up being Toriyama's best work if they are greatly designed.

Maybe Zeno forgets about Goku now that he has his future self as a friend so he won't care about destroying U7 or not

Only Champa and Bills are cats, I mean, don't you guys see that GIANT GoD behind Champa??? So unless he is a giant cat then I doubt they are all cats, but I'm worried that every God of Creation are the same

Given the reactionary shot of Goku and Beerus at the end this is likely the case.

The fact that the losing universes will be destroyed could create a moral conflict for the characters participating in the tournament, especially between U6 and U7 (and 10 because of Gowasu I guess), as they are aware that if they win against their opponents they are basically wiping out their opponent's universe as well, killing trillions and more.
I hope Super will do something with that.

What I think might happen is while the tournament is happening, Bulma collects the Super dragon balls and just before the the Zeno's blow up 11 universes she wishes all planet to be moved to the winning universe.
